What a lovely, lovely day!! Thank you!
Excellent quote... one to keep in mind!
Ginnie Hart: We've had such wonderful weather this Spring, Elizabeth, as though all is well with the world! (sigh) Thanks.

Such a verdant, lush landscape which evokes such tranquility!!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Steven, and right at our fingertips here where we live.
Quel joli paysage, le petit pont est charmant.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Martine. It's a favorite spot here where we live.
What a pleasant view Ginnie, and a good quote.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Frank.

It all looks very green & peaceful out there Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris. By June 1st we'll be able to have 10 people together (at a distance), so soon this will probably look much busier?

This is one of our many beautiful views from the citadel wall and also these are the trees that you showed on Friday with the look through that Arch with the lady with the bike. We are so lucky to have this kind of place to walk and get some fresh air, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Good memory on that tree, Astrid! And yes, we are so lucky to have these beautiful sights here at our fingertips!

Oh, delightful! That path looks very inviting and has space to pass people safely.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Alan. One day I hope you can see it with your own eyes.
All so quiet and peaceful. You live in a lovey area Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so,Bill. We often pinch ourselves, still, after all these years.

I recall this lovely view - so typically Dutch! Oh, I wish I could return to Nederland, from 1st July on possible again for tourists!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, you would remember this, Philine, even if it was abit foggy that day! One day you'll be back!
Wat een geweldig uitzicht over dit waterrijke gebied.
Zalig om naar te kijken.
Ginnie Hart: Inderdaad, Marjolein. You would love it here.

un bel endroit pour de bonnes balades
JP
Ginnie Hart: Especially if you have dogs, JP. This particular spot is perfect for letting the dogs roam freely without their leashes.

Ginnie Hart: It really is, Chad. Thank you.
Such a beautiful area Ginnie, with so many waterways; it must be a pleasure to have this nearby! I would be hanging over the bridge to spot the fish :-D
Ginnie Hart: Yes, you would,Martin. We often see fishers in this area. I wonder what they catch?

a charming spot and another beautiful day to be outdoors, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Yes to both, Ayush. You know where we live. smile
So springlike in the feeling here. The buds on the trees are in fine tune.
Ginnie Hart: This is such a great time of the year here, Care.
Oh there's another famous Chinese saying, to know contentment will always bring you happiness.

Is your city wall surrounded by this canal?
Ginnie Hart: I'm a keen supporter,LC, of being thankful for what we have because of the contentment it brings! Indeed. And yes, our citadel wall is surrounded by water, whether by canals or rivers. It's a wonderful place to be.
What lovely countryside you have nearby. I caught up with your Citadel walk on your blog the other day, like us you are lucky to have such lovely countryside only a short walk from home, I will show some of ours in a few weeks time. BTW I'm very impressed with Astrids Bird Feeder.
Ginnie Hart: We often pinch ourselves for living where we do, Brian, which I assume you and Maureen do, too. So, yes, we're most fortunate. And thanks for following my other blog. I have just told Astrid what you said about her bird feeder.

A place where I want to be.

I have a feeling that if you do this in your world famous watercolours, that it will be a likey.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! I'll try that, Louis. Thanks for the idea!
What an idyllic landscape. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Ruthie. Thanks.
All that water and wide open space. Yes, I love it and looking at it makes me feel better.
Ginnie Hart: Water is one of the things we have plenty of, Sheila, even though we sometimes worry about drought. I love where we live!
what a bright and lovely spring landscape Ginnie... love it....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Then I think you should visit St Malo in France! Look it up, I think you will like it too.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, WOW. Sounds like something to add to our Bucket List, LC. We ARE thinking about a trip to NW France one of these years soon....
That is gorgeous. I love those wonderful greens.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael, and am I ever so glad to see you back in the land of the living again! Please stay well.
Very beautiful and peaceful, a landscape as I like it, all greenery and tranquility. Have a good ST Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. We need these scenes to calm us these days!
Like a lot of the Netherlands - pretty watery!
Ginnie Hart: VERY watery, Tom, and yet we always know when we need rain!
Très bel endroit de verdure qui doit être bien agréable pour une promenade.
Bonne soirée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale. It's one of my favorite places here where we live.
Truer words have not been said, Ginnie! Beautiful capture... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sudipto.
