An excellent PoV which adds great depth to this colorful composition under warm sunlight! How nice that Astrid was able to zoom in so close to capture the cormorant on the windmill.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. We were both able to zoom in on the cormorant, which was fun, but her view of it was better than mine, so her's was the perfect companion to my shot here.
A lovely photo Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Not a cloud in the sky!! What a beautiful scene on a beautiful day!
Ginnie Hart: It was quite something, Elizabeth. Thank you.

I am so happy that we were able to "get there by car".... This is a well kept place for "bikes only". It was the perfect day for getting some fresh air. I love this point of view, Ginnie.
Beautiful landscape to a fantastic stroll in the field. Lovely windmill and perspective. Have a good week Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It was worth the entire outing we had that day, Marie! Merci.

Everything always looks so tidy in the Netherlands, Ginnie, and this is a tidy picture!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, you are probably right most of the time, Lisl. smile Thank you kindly.

A lovely path through the green Nederland! Next week I'll start a series "Home sweet home".
Ginnie Hart: It was my first time there, Philine, so I was thrilled to see it. Your Home Sweet Home series will be great.
Echt mooi Hollands plaatje.
Zo uitnodigend om achter de dames aan te lopen.
Fijne week
Ginnie Hart: It was delightful, Marjolein. The ladies added a nice touch. smile Bedankt.
I can just see Mr Cormorant on his perch! It all looks so tranquil here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes to both comments, Bill. Thank you.
Me voilà tout doucettement de retour chez les copinautes.
Jolie photo, j'y ferai volontiers une petite balade sur ce chemin.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It's so good to see you again, Pascale. I hope you're doing okay?!

I like the way you have composed this Ginnie, it’s a delightful scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. We can see this windmill from the highway but this was the first time to see it from this side, which I quite like.

Nice picture. Lovely scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
How come A didn't build a cormorant feeder on your balcony?

Surely it will be more satisfying to see such big bird on your balcony.

Want some herring to lure him to your lair? Ha!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! You are way too funny, LC, with the things you come up with. But the best thing is that you were able to finally comment again. Our administrator was able to fix it. YAY.

So, Astrid used her famous zoom to get that dot up there, reeled in for closer inspection.

You picture is excellent - some would say chocciebox, but that would be jealousy.
Ginnie Hart: HAHA, Louis. We both have the same camera now, so I was able to zoom in, too, but she had the better pic because of how the cormorant turned its head. It was a good combination of scenes between the two of us, we decided. smile Thanks.

what a lovely place to walk. very nice.
Ginnie Hart: It was a true delight, Ryan. Thank you.
Oh how much I would enjoy a walk along there, sorry if I'm being boring keeping saying that every time you show one of these lovely windmills but I will admit to being slightly envious that you can see these wonderful things.
What a charming view! Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.

Love the lighting in this image and the leading lines as far as the eye can see...and of course, the ubiquitous Windmill! So pretty.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bonnie. Windmills will always have my heart and soul. smile
J'adorerais être sur ce chemin !!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Claudine, I know you would love it! smile
