An inviting archway from darkness into light! The yellow blossoms really "pop" in this shot.
Ginnie Hart: It really IS inviting, Steven. Thank you.

good to see the dog also participating in some fresh air, outdoor activity, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I suppose the dog is the impetus for the exercise, Ayush? smile
Great "keyhole" shot! We will sure do out best - hope you will too!
Ginnie Hart: It's one of my favorite spots on our citadel wall, Elizabeth, made even more special when I see such a scene as this. Thanks.
Jolie vue sur ce paysage champêtre.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. It's one of my favorite spots here where we live in our fortress city.

This is a fine image Ginnie. The sort I really like with that wonderful body language
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Chris. And yes, it was all I could do to make sure I snapped this quickly enough.

This is a wonderful scene and a wonderful place to spend some time, Ginnie. Ii is one of those places that are also unique to Gorinchem
Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: It's one of my favorite spots here where we live, Astrid. Bedankt.

I love you view here. The doors thrown open so that we can escapee into the countryside. The lady has the companionship of her dog.
Ginnie Hart: It's one of my favorite spots in Gorinchem, Alan. One day we'll have to get you here to see it for yourself!

We have now many easings, even the restaurants can open, but how long? I am a bit afraid if these easings are helpful. A nice composition with view on the nature!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Philine, and I do know what you mean. I guess only time will tell?!

C'est une solution qui peut s'avérer dangereuse
JP
Ginnie Hart: Yes, JP. We still need to be careful.
Mooie tekst bij deze mooie foto.
Jullie ook fijn weekend
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. On these beautiful days it's hard to stay indoors.

Very good, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Riding a bike and walking a dog at the same time looks like a hazardous pastime
Ginnie Hart: You see a lot of it here in the Netherlands, as you'd imagine, Bill. So far I haven't seen anything go wrong with it, but I often hold my breath when I see it.

Nice contrast between the internal darkness and the exterior light Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. I always like when I get to this spot on my walk. smile

mooi doorkijkje in deze knappe foto Ginnie

wel een stevige poort dacht ik spontaan

prettig weekend
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Willy. It's the only one remaining of the original 4 and always a joy to visit.
Ooh! Nice framing. I have a friend who takes his dog on bike ride/runs like that.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Care. We see it all the time here where we live, as you can imagine.
It's Bank Holiday Friday today!
It's usually Monday, don't know why they moved it to Friday, not Wednesday. Isn't that a border collie?
Ginnie Hart: So, Bank Holiday for you. I didn't know that, LC. But is that a border collie? I have no idea. I'm not a connoisseur of so many things, I'm afraid.
This splendid arch makes for a really good picture frame with some nice looking scenery beyond. Maureen and I have both got rid of our bikes now, Maureen never was very confident riding on roads anyway.
Ginnie Hart: It's a delightful place to take your dog near where we live, Brian, if you want him/her to run around. I actually have a bike here but I don't ride it often, I'm afraid. Maybe one of these days soon Astrid and I will go off somewhere together.

Yes, curl up in your favourite chair, or in bed, with a good book. Until you run out of books. Fortunately I can do my daily walk again.
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Louis. We need to find some semblance of "normalcy" these days. (sigh)

such a beautifully captured scene. like an entry into your world.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sherri. It IS an entry into my world. Well said,.
I love how you framed this relaxing view. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.
A great shot Ginnie! I'm hoping Boris will relax the restrictions on fishing :-D
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin, and for your sake, I hope so, too!

Bravo! This is the hardest combo for me to capture. The right light exposure for outside, yet able to see the doorway leading out. Terrific!
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Bonnie. Thanks.
