Tu as vu beaucoup de châteaux, celui-là  aussi est beau. J'aime aussi la route pavée.
Ginnie Hart: This one was extra special, Martine, because it was my first time ever in Lichtenstein.

It looks VARY solid.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely a bulwark, Ray!
a nice winding loop to lead to this structure, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: More than even this shows, Ayush!

A more modest castle will less stated greenery.
Ginnie Hart: A bit more modest, indeed, Cherry, but definitely a castle. You can see more of it in another view while driving up the mountain.

Great leading lines in this winding road and fence up to the castle! I love the radiating patterns seen in the cobblestone road.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven, and I totally agree about those cobblestones!
beautiful, stately scene ... if only more neighborhoods looked like this
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely stately and definitely like a neighborhood, Ryan. Very well-kept.
Excellently composed shot Ginnie. Nice treatment too.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

This is brilliant Ginnie. I love the way you have incorporated the round curve of the road to echo the round castle.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Chad.

A long road up to the castle, Ginnie. I like this point of view. "They" will spot the enemy from far.... To me it was worth the drive to Lichtenstein, we had a great day.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. It was totally worth the 147 km from our Ehrwald home base in Austria, just to say we did it.

A charming looking place Ginnie. Looks like you had it all to yourselves
Ginnie Hart: Just about, Chris, on a rainy day during the middle of the week!

What a splendid image. I especially like the composition with the curve of the railing.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Alan, isn't it. Thank you.

A wonderfully curved way up to this beautiful castle!
Ginnie Hart: Even on a rainy day, Philine! smile Thanks.
Une petite grimpette bien agreable avec ce chateau en vue ...
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Claudine. We parked up above and then walked down for different views.

Bien mis en valeur
JP
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
A wonderful composition, Ginnie! What a good start to the week smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martin. It felt like a good start to me also. smile
What a grand point of view. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie.
Excellent composition Ginnie, the shape of the foreground fence nicely matches the edge of the roof of the round tower.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. Lots of curves that day. smile
So you are off to clean your castle grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! If that's the only way I could get inside, I just might volunteer to clean it, Bill. grin
what a gorgeous picture!!!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elaine.
Wat een mooie opname.
Echt supermooi en dit herken ik wel.
Ginnie Hart: So you've been there, too, Marjolein? Even on a rainy day it was fun to say we saw it, especially on that winding road. Bedankt.

I like the curves...brings you right into the shot.
Ginnie Hart: It was all about curves that day, Bonnie. HA! Thank you.
what a beautiful composition Ginnie... i love the stone roadway on the curve... and the castle looks pretty good as well....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Did you find the giant hairpin for Rapunzel?

She might possess a handful of these hairpins on Lombard St in SF.
Ginnie Hart: Enough hairpins to shake a stick at, LC. HA! That may have been the most fun of the day...that winding road.
I don't know this castle but I really like your very successful framing and the castle as well of course
Ginnie Hart: We know about it, Marie, only because we decided to visit Lichtenstein and this is what Astrid found in her research!
