I love that characterful decay, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Ray. It's one of the many things I love about Europe.

Nice shot Ginnie. It's the texture that caught my eye. The woman in the drawing adds a bit of mystery to the scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you Andy. Texture like that always catches my eye! And yes, I loved the woman "mystery."
A nice composition Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Frank.
Nicely seen, Ginnie! And I love your statement!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Elizabeth!

There's a story here.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure of it, Bonnie. smile
Jolie composition, j'aime les pavés au sol.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. Yes, those stones are different from what we usually see in Europe.
Une composition bien sympa, j'aime beaucoup.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Pascale. Merci.

Italy is good for women with inscrutable faces, even in graffiti..
Ginnie Hart: HA! I guess so, Chris! smile
Lovely composition Ginnie with beautiful textures and colors
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.

Great point of view here, Ginnie. It looks like Lucca has it's own "Banksy" but then different. There is so much to see in this picture, love it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. So much to see, indeed...and we were there for only 2 hours!
Ange was having a quick look at facebook this morning and as she scrolled past this she said. That looks like one go Ginnie's picturessmile
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's fun when we recognize each other in our pics, Bill...but when our SPOUSES do, too, that's something else entirely! smile

I like the carrier on the bike. A good use of something being recycled - and cycled.
Ginnie Hart: We see this kind of thing here in the Netherlands all the time, Alan. It's fun, isn't it!
and you tooooo, i have a great idea for YOUR stamp smile
i love this picture! I wonder who the girl in the stamp is...
Ginnie Hart: Do I want to know your idea, Elaine????? smile But yes, I wonder, too. I've been trying like the dickens to figure out the word on top of her and can only come up with "trauma."

This is very good Ginnie. The split between the near and far is a tad uncomfortable for the eye, it makes it an image that is not at rest. Not that that is a bad thing I must add. It makes it interesting and there is lots of good elements to see.
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Chad. If I had used a different camera/setting I might have gotten a background blur? But yes, lots going on in this image. I obviously focused on the "stamp."
I wonder what the story is about that picture on the wall?
Ginnie Hart: I wonder, too, Brian!

A nice portrait-oriented composition which emphasizes the multiple facades. Excellent textures and colors throughout as well.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. Lots going on in this one, to be sure.

I am surprising myself. It is a likey, in spite of the tourists smile
Ginnie Hart: You are surprising me, too, Louis. Thank you.
I really like this composition. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.

beautifully composed image
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sherri.
She looks like Morticia Addams?!
Ha ha... Or is it just me?
Don't you think so?

Not the Anjelica Huston's version.
But the original, Carolyn Jones.

I just Googled Huston's pictures and found that she has gained quite a few pounds. And you know what?! She reminded me of John Travolta. Yes, you heard me right.
Travolta in Hairspray! Ha...

Oh boy, I watch way too much crap.
Ginnie Hart: At least you know your characters, LC! smile HAHA!
i like coming across something quite random and yet arrests one's attention, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Ayush!

Nice drawing on the wall too!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Anne. That's what caught my eye, of course.
I can't read what the green writing across the drawing says, Ginnie, but it reminds me a bit of prints you see posted of missing persons. That's my dark take on this fabulous image.
Ginnie Hart: I have tried for the life of me to figure out the word, Beverly and can only come up with "TRAUMA." If that's it, you're not far off the mark with your "dark take."
