J'adore toutes ces décorations, c'est splendide.
Ginnie Hart: It's probably good that someone loves it, Martine, because it's very "busy" to me. smile

Caught in the act!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Ray.
They are very busy decorations, it doesn't look very relaxing Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Exactly what I thought, Frank!
Brilliant title, Ginnie!
It's beautiful... but yes a bit chaotic! Terrific shot!
Ginnie Hart: It was later on the big screen that I couldn't believe how busy this was, Elizabeth! Thanks.

Look at all that marble, Ginnie. It is like you said that while we were there we did not realize how "busy" it is. I would not want to walk up to him in plain sight for a confession (not that I anything to confess)
A great picture.
Ginnie Hart: It's so strange that we see how "busy" this is now but not then when we saw it, Astrid. Bedankt.
Ideal pour se ressourcer .. très bel endroit
Ginnie Hart: I guess so, Claudine. smile Merci.
Catching up on Facebook?
Ginnie Hart: HA! We'll never know, Bill, will we!

I hope you didn't disturb him?
Ginnie Hart: Not a chance, Philine. smile

Wow, you can change a carpet but you couldn’t change this so easily Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly and good point, Chad. grin

Rather a "busy" visual place. I wonder what the priest(?) is looking at on his phone? I hope it is nothing that may end up in the news in years to come...ahem!
Ginnie Hart: We can always come up with a hundred different stories, Alan, and wonder if any of them is correct! smile
Goed gezien en vastgelegd, daaaag
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. smile
sitting in a room like that would stress me out lol the very walls are screaming 'HELLO!!!' lolol
neat shot!
Ginnie Hart: They'd stress me out, too, Elaine!!! Thanks.

Ora et Labora ( pray and work) was de regel van Sint- Benedictus Ginnie...

ondanks de drukke marmerdecoratie, ongetwijfeld een rustpunt..

een prachtige foto

prettige dag
Ginnie Hart: I like what you have added to this image, Willy. Bedankt.

Sherbet, he has an awesome reading room!
Ginnie Hart: ...in spite of all of us passing him by!
Ici à  priori on est à  l'écart du chaos en effet.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I guess it all depends on one's presence of mind, Pascale, doesn't it!
Montecassino? Does it mean "Casino Mountain" in Italian? wink
If so, he must be busy playing online poker?
Ginnie Hart: Cassino is in fact the city below this mountain-top monastery, LC, so you're on the right track. smile

What gorgeous colors and patterns that envelope this person!! Perfect title to this post!
Ginnie Hart: It's hard to believe this is all marble, Steven, isn't it! Thanks.
He is so relaxed in his busy surroundings.
Ginnie Hart: He is, indeed, Mary. I suppose he doesn't even "see" it anymore.
SUrrounded by such beauty, a lovely peaceful moment captured.
Ginnie Hart: Beauty midst the chaos of design, Ruthie! Thanks.
The surround doesn't make one think it is an aera for quiet contemplation, but then I saw his phone, one doesn't expect to see a priest busy with his mobile in the middle of the church.
Ginnie Hart: One does wonder how modern-day priests go about their business, Brian, with all the social media at their fingertips!
A place remembered from wartime broadcasts!
Ginnie Hart: Well, appropriately so, Tom, since this place WAS bombed during WWII!

Wonderful juxtaposition of the reader! Makes the image for me. I like the many textures and imagine they would feel cool to the touch. Is this a priest waiting for confessor?
Ginnie Hart: So many questions about this, Bonnie, because it does indeed look like a confessional...but, if so, it may be the first time I've ever seen one out in open!
Superb architecture and paintings. And in addition, the priest came to add to this very beautiful setting
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. The image would not have been taken if I hadn't seen the priest, for sure!
