A Mid-Week Break

Have you wondered if the number of births worldwide in 6-9 months

will exceed the number of COVID-19 deaths?

C'est coquin... Il y aura certainement beaucoup de naissances dans quelques mois.
Ginnie Hart: One wonders, Martine!

An eye-opening and interesting moment captured here! I bet COVID has scared people away from getting pregnant, especially if they get separated from their spouse during delivery. Plus with family being together so much, it's hard to have a private "moment". smile
Ginnie Hart: Well, you do make a good point, Steven. Hmmm.
Oh, I thought he was hitching a lift ! smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA!
I hope not!
What a catch, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: One might say it defeats the "purpose," Elizabeth?

Was this 'humpday'? My days are getting all mixed up. (Get a ROOM!)
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. Humpday, indeed, Bonnie. Good one. smile

I have mused aloud about this to friends.
Ginnie Hart: I must have heard you, Ray.
Spring is good for mating, everyone is warm-blooded at this time of the year, even bulls. LOL!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Marie. smile

Yours is a very good question Ginnie. Someone somewhere must know the answer.
Ginnie Hart: Someone somewhere! I suppose we'll all know soon enough?

I am glad that cow found some friend to push him home.....
We soon will find out, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! A good push never hurt anyone, I hope! And yes, we'll find out soon.
Probably.

But what sort of world will they grow up in?

Those must be happy cows to be playing leapfrog
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Bill, on both counts. sad smile
Ha ha...jij was daar net op het juiste moment en dat met een toeschouwer !!
Leuke quote
Ginnie Hart: We felt like we were Peeping Toms, Marjolein. smile Bedankt.

I have been thinking just that, Ginnie. I guess the divorce rate will go up, too
Ginnie Hart: (sigh) On both accounts, Lisl. Domestic violence, too, I'm afraid. sad

Yes, I am sure- many people need some job during their stay at home. A funny picture!
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure someone will be watching the statistics, Philine! Thanks.
I've wondered, and I'm sure they will, but not because of COVID restrictions, in spite of it.
Ginnie Hart: Hmmm. That's an interesting take on it, Sheila. I'll have to think about that.

They are playing leap frog Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I suppose we have to come up with something for the kids, Chad, right?! smile

aan hem zal het niet liggen Ginnie

een fraaie indiscrete foto en dat bijschrift geeft er iets extra aan

have a nice day
Ginnie Hart: HA! Almost risque, then, Willy?! smile Bedankt.
Caught at just the right (or is it) moment, at least the farmer might be happy in a few months time. I will be quite surprised if maternity wards aren't extra busy come the Christmas/New Year period, I don't think 'social distancing' applies out side the home smile
Ginnie Hart: Exactly my thought, Brian! smile

This is a wonderful b&w image. It definitely has a fine element of story. And, I love your question. I would guess there are far more births.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Beth, and my guess is that we'll see a huge spurt!
COVID-19 is over.
Let's do some BOVID+18 now.

BOVIne Delight 18+
Ginnie Hart: If only, LC. If only!
I expect a mini-boom for sure.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Care!
I still grieve for those who have passed away. I will rejoice in the new births. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: That's a good way to put it, Ruthie.

cattle do the most basic things with no thought : - )

no, but now i'm wondering
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Sherri, about the cows! And I wonder, too.....
Don't worry about the down hill bit; just keep going :-D Great capture Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. I'm not sure he was able to even get a quickie, Martin. grin

Hahah! Yes, the increse in births has crossed my mind. Let's hope people are not so irresponsible to go on adding to the over-population, though.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree. Alan. Sometimes these "natural" disasters help to "control" population growth, but not if people don't use sense.

Interesting question you have there. I only know that it will not happen in my house grin

Lazy cow's hitching a ride.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA on both counts, Louis! smile
You can get the answer to your question here:
https://www.worldometers.info/

and the answer is... by a long way!
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Tom. I have just bookmarked that link and will check it out often!
I saw a news story that lube sales are up.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, there you have it, Michael. smile
