An interesting find inside this luscious red pepper!! Can't beat two for the price of one. smile
Ginnie Hart: Two for the price of one, indeed. Who knew she was even pregnant! smile
Lets hope she takes us with her, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Frank!
What a beautiful specimen! I LOVE it when I find a baby pepper inside a Mama pepper!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. It's good these days to be "surprised by joy!"
Un beau poivron qui ressort bien sur l'assiette blanche.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.

Well something's going on, that's for sure..
Ginnie Hart: She loves to surprise us like this ever so often, Chris, doesn't she.

I thought for a moment this was another painting by Astrid's friend!
Ginnie Hart: WOW, Lisl. It could have been. She would really like that as a compliment!
Kind of like the pepper in picture 1 gave birth to a baby pepper. That's very good, Ginnie, very good!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Marie. Sometimes Mother Nature still wants us to have hope, I think.

That was quite the surprise here, Ginnie and I love the pictures.
Ginnie Hart: Mother Nature intends to give us many smiles these days, Astrid, I have a feeling! We need hope.
Bravo pour la photo , j'aime !!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.

Another of Nature's wonders.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Alan. I think she's playing with us right now while we're trying to get our act together.
Mrs pepper has twins!
Ginnie Hart: Well, in this case, just one, Bill. If I find twins, you'll be the first to know.

It wasn't your purpose, but I think that top one can do very well in a still live competition.

Those 'embryos' in the peppers are extra juicy.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Louis. And yes, I quite enjoyed that "embryo."
Ja, het is voorjaar ;-))
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Marjolein, it is!

That looks a healthy lunch you have dished up Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Chad, I eat raw bell peppers 4-5 days/week...red, yellow or green. I love them. Astrid can eat them cooked but not raw.

What a find - wonderful - and so symbolic!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. I thought so, too, at this time in our lives!
Bien vu ta composition Ginnie.
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Pascale. Merci.

verrassend om dit te zien Ginnie

een klein wonder van de natuur...

zou het met de lente te maken hebben ?

knappe kleurcontrasten in deze foto's

prettige dag
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Willy. I always wonder about these little "miracles" that bring a smile to my face. Bedankt.
No, no, no. It's more like Chang and Eng. I read about their story from National Geographic back in those days when I was still in Malaysia.

Have you heard of PressReader? I get free access to the site from my local library. You can read up to nearly 7.5K newspapers and magazines from all around the world, including NG! Oddly they only have Norwegian, Danish, Swedish etc versions of NG online. They do have NG Traveller in English though.
Ginnie Hart: No, LC. I'm not familiar with PressReader. It's always good to find new things out there just waiting to be grabbed. As always, thank you.
My mind is on gardening because I have the faith that Mother Earth will pull us through. Love your shots.
Ginnie Hart: Right now we need all the faith and help she can give us, Care! Thanks.
I've never come across a pregnant Pepper before, it was a caesarian birth then smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA! Yes, Brian. I had to be so careful during the surgery NOT to cut through the embryo! smile
Clever title and nice image. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.
A simple and pleasing composition, Ginnie smile
Mother earth must be breathing easier, these days!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin, and I sure hope so. But who knew it would take THIS!
i love it Ginnie... Mother Earth needs a lot of rebirthing these days....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter, and yes, she does!

Excellent treatment. My daughter's favorite veggie. Very expensive..like buying chocolate! I like the treatment in top photo a lot.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. I buy the "traffic light" combo for €1.69 every third week, and eat one pepper a week during lunch...red, yellow or green. Astrid doesn't mind them cooked but doesn't react well to them raw.
big fan of roasted peppers ... my mom makes the best ... now sure what her secret recipe is but its awesome

I have had the cute discovery in some of the peppers I have bought recently smile
Ginnie Hart: So I'm not the only one, Cherry! smile
