Ginnie Hart: It really is, Ray. Easy to see why it's German's most popular castle.

Such a stately castle with a beautiful towering turret!! Nicely framed against the soaring cliffs of the background.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks,Steven. It's really something to write home about!
this is absolutely astounding, Ginnie. i'd hate to be one of the builders or part of the construction crew - but the view is amazing!
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree about building or maintaining such a structure, Ayush, but the views are definitely worth the effort put in by others!

WOW!!!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Cherry. So glad I finally got to see it with my own eyes.
Your treatment makes this look just like a fairy-tale!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth, because that's exactly what it is!
This one I know perfectly well, I visited it and I went there three times just to take pictures of the outside in summer, autumn and even in winter with the snow around. I love Neuschwanstein and other castles of Bavaria
Ginnie Hart: Oh, WOW, Marie. You obviously know much more about this castle than I do. How can anyone NOT love it!

This is one we can check off from our bucket list, Ginnie. We were so lucky with the weather that day, sun and clouds and rain on the way home.... I love this view very much.
Ginnie Hart: One of my great thrills of the trip, Astrid, which I'll never forget. Thank you again and again for planning everything out to a T.

I have never been there, but I know that all the tourists from allover the world want to see it - a fabulous image! King Louis II was an eccentric person. Ludwig II was King of Bavaria from 1864 until his death in 1886. He is sometimes called the Swan King or der Märchenkönig ("the Fairy Tale King").
Ginnie Hart: Within walking distance from this one is the Holenschwangau castle which I'll show soon, Philine, where the name of King Ludwig II really sounds familiar, since it was his childhood home, built by his father, King Maximilian II!
Wat mooi en een schitterend kasteel en ook gefotografeerd
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. It's always been on my Bucket List, so this was huge to see. smile

I hate to use the word "iconic" as it so often used wrongly but it applies int his case. It looks fabulous; what an incredible structure.
Ginnie Hart: It's been on my Bucket List for a long time, Alan, so you can imagine the thrill it was to finally see it!
It's sooooo beautiful smile maybe it's good childhood messages in my brain from watching Disney on sundays when i was a kid... this picture is [email protected]!!
Ginnie Hart: So many fairy tales come from the look of this castle, Elaine. You can imagine how fun it was to finally SEE it with my own eyes! Thanks.
A super architecture shot! Nice day to you Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland.
You found a great POV for this shot Ginnie! Wonderful smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martin. We were so lucky that day to see it from several POVs. This was one of my favorites.
How does laundry sound? LOL
Ginnie Hart: HA! Everything needs expertise, Mary. Flaunt it. smile
Some where I've always wanted to see, it comes as no surprise about its popularity.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Brian. It was a thrill to finally see it with my own eyes.
THis is like out of a fairy tale! I love it! Friendship
Ginnie Hart: I guess that's why Disney supposedly created his logo based on it, Ruthie!

Ginnie Hart: It's been on my Bucket List ever since I moved to Europe, Willy, so I'm glad I finally got to see it with my own eyes! Bedankt.
Well it looks as if it deserves the title Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It really does, Bill.
Bel ecrin pour ce chateau !!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Claudine! Merci.
Visited there many years ago - in the days of film smile
Ginnie Hart: Those were the days, Tom, weren't they. HA!
How many castles are there in Germany? They all look like the famous Disneyland's logo.

Who's your favourite Disney character? Mine is Dopey. Look out for him this Halloween. I might knock on your front door in Dopey's costume. Please can you be the evil stepmother. Ha...
Ginnie Hart: Actually, this IS the castle supposedly based on Disney's logo, so you've got that right, LC. As to what Disney character is my favorite, I'm going to have to think hard about that one. But at least I know you're Dopey, so I won't pick him. HA!
