Oh, what a splendid enclave with refreshing turquoise water! I love those trees that appear to cling to the cliffs. Beautiful capture!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. You can imagine the thrill it was to finally see this coast!

Ginnie I love this shot. The lighting, the shadows and the beautiful blue water make for one big gorgeous scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Andy. And this was only ONE of many such gorgeous sights.
Quelle magnifique vue ! J'adore les bords de mer.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. I do, too.

What an agreeable place to be Ginnie. I'll bet the temperatures were perfect when you went there
Ginnie Hart: Because it was mostly a sunny day, Chris, the temps were indeed perfect...probably in the 50sF?
Beautiful! And it looks so tropical!!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Elizabeth. I remember that Frank has seen this coast. Maybe one day you can, too!

I love this view in between those trees, Ginnie. We had such a fabulous day driving along that coast.
Ginnie Hart: If I recall correctly, this is the view from the restaurant where we ate lunch that day, Astrid. Bedankt.

This is wonderful - and a beautiful composition!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Philine.
Une côte vraiment très belle !
Ginnie Hart: Totally worth the experience, Claudine!
Beautiful coast... and composition.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie!
wow!! that is simply breathtaking!! thank you for this...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elaine, and you're welcome. smile
Oh, wat een mooie kustlijn..amalfi ?
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Marjolein, (as written in my text above).
What a wonderful place this is Ginnie, nicely captured.
Ginnie Hart: I remember that you loved this place, Frank, when you were there. Now I know why!
I would like to visit Amalfi one day. smile
Am going to Milan next month.
Just got back from Budapest yesterday.
Been very busy this summer. wink
Ginnie Hart: Of all the places we did NOT see on our Grand Tour of Italy, LC, it was Milan. Let me know if we need to go back. But we've been to Budapest, and now Amalfi. Why do we keep missing each other???

No beaches, it must be high tide. Well framed with the trees.
Ginnie Hart: We saw very few beaches, Louis, to be honest, but the views were spectacular!
Excellent capture of this beautiful area, Ginnie. In all the times we've visited Italy we've never been to the Amalfi Coast. This image shows what we've missed.
Ginnie Hart: And it was even so much better than this, Beverly! I hope you can get there one day.
Lovely - I'd be happy to be there, right now!
Ginnie Hart: It was truly incredible, Tom.
One sense you filled up with was probably some fresh seafood. I can imagine the food on your trip.
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, Mary, we had hoped for fish every day but it was never offered except for one time in 19 days! That was one of my biggest disappointments.
It is a beautiful coastline, so I'm told, I likew your viewpoint here.
Ginnie Hart: Everything you've been told is true, Brian...and more so! Thanks.

Oh I loved the Amalfi coast Ginnie - Psotano, Amalfi, Miori, Minori etc.
Ginnie Hart: We only stopped in Amalfi, Chad, but I can just imagine the joy it would be to stop anywhere you wanted all along the way.
>I really like Alms Houses

They are actually quite common in Holland. Came across lots in Rotterdam, Utretch, Leiden etc.

I think Leiden is by far my favourite town in Holland. smile
Utretch canals are quite unique too.
Ginnie Hart: Astrid and I have many happy first memories from Utrecht, LC, so it's a favorite city of ours. I've been to Leiden but one day we want to visit there together. Thanks for the reminder. And yes, I love the alms houses I've seen here in Holland.

Ginnie Hart: I bet even in the rain it would be beautiful to see (like Pisa, Pompeii and the Trulli houses of Alberobello were for us).
