This is a nice artistic touch to the area Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Chris, and would love to know what it's about!
It is a good idea of the Romans to have put this big picture in front of the Colosseum. I love this monument and all the life of Rome and its architectural wonders
Ginnie Hart: It seemed to add a special touch, Marie! smile Merci.
Magnifique prise de vue !
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine!

Haha- very impressive and an unusual perspective of this famous building!
Ginnie Hart: It was quite a surprise to see, Philine, as you can imagine! smile
Hahaha They look like triplets!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Bill. For all I know, it's the same person! smile
Jolies photo "tranche de vie".
Belle lumière aussi.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Slice of life, indeed, Pascale. Merci.

Ha ha well I never. I don’t recall seeing all those part parks in the walls Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: We wondered what they were, Chad...all those pock marks...and were told that all the metal attachments in their day were removed when metal/iron was in need. Nice thought, right?!
Is it true that potato skin can make your hair curl like this? wink

I heard about this somewhere before...
Ginnie Hart: HA! Beats me, LC, but I trust you....
Your title made me laugh! I like how you composed this to show all of the life among the ruins.
Ginnie Hart: When you think of the history of this place, Ruthie, we something to make us laugh, right?! Thank you.
it may not look obvious initially, but there are actually a lot of people in this image, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! You're right, Ayush. smile

An interesting modern "installation" at the Colosseum! Nicely-framed view. Hardly stooges, in my opinion. smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Three Caesars, maybe, Steven??? smile
It is a very imposing thingy to have in front of such a famous building. Our SC three stooges haven't got curly hair smile Are all those holes in the building the result of bullets or shell fire during times of war?
Ginnie Hart: Our Three Stooges should feel honored, Brian! But good question about all those pock marks in the wall, which I, too wondered about. The answer to my question that day was that all the metal/iron was removed during a time when it was needed (for God knows what).

Well done. I love the inclusion of the poster with all the people just doing their thing. Makes you wonder a little about who are the real stooges.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Beth. It looks like the Three Caesars, from my perspective...all three the same person?! I do wonder! (I tried Googling it but couldn't find anything.)
Their fame is worldwide!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Tom. smile
they look out of place so close to the warmer colours of the ruins of the Colosseum Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Yes they do, Peter. I tried Googling to see why they were there but to no avail.
