Nice image, but those faces look so unhappy at having to bear all that weight!
Ginnie Hart: Must be because it's Monday, Sheila??? smile
Wow that's so great!
Ginnie Hart: The details like this always amaze me, Elizabeth!

Whatever it is they're doing, they look pretty serious about it Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: I was hoping either you or Lisl could help us figure it out, Chris?

..and my favourite day of the week!. Hahah!!! These two figures don't seem too pleased, though, at the thought.
Ginnie Hart: Some of us are more lucky than others, Alan! smile
J'aime ces détails sculptés .merci
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.
Wat een leuk beeldhouwwerkje.
Hoe heel zoiets ook alweer ?
Sokkeltje ?
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Marjolein. This is underneath the pedestal that's holding a statue.
Looks like they know it!grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm sure they do, Bill! smile
Très joli travail de sculpture, et cela vaut la peine de lever le regard.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Pascale. Merci.

I can’t make out if those are swords the figures are holding Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I can't either, Chad. Swords, maybe, or tools of some sort. The swords make more sense, like they're guarding the statue above.

I wonder why they like to sculpt old guys with grim expressions into the pedestal of church sculptures. Maybe they were young in the original and grew old from the load.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like the way you think, Louis.

Splendid detail in great light! They look wide-eyed on this Monday morn!
Ginnie Hart: Wide-eyed and ready for battle, Steven!? HA! Thanks.
Looks like they both have different opinions on something... I wonder what, G.
Burger or pasta? wink
Ginnie Hart: Friends can always disagree and still stand side by side, LC, right?
I plan to carry on - with a smile.
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Mary!
