What great use of lighting to showcase these beautiful colors and forms of Chihuly's glass sculptures! A perfect sighting for someone still buried in snow. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. I must have known you needed some bedazzling! smile

It is lovely, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Hard to beat, Ray. Thanks.
Jolis mélanges de couleurs et de formes.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Martine. Chihuly is the consummate artist.
Spectacular, Ginnie...I've seen some of his work here.
Ginnie Hart: He really gets around, Frank, famous worldwide. Astrid read the other day that he's the most well-known glass sculptor in the world.
Ah Chihuly - Instantly recognizable!! Beautiful lighting, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Well-known now all over the world, Elizabeth. Thanks.

They did a great job with the display and you did a great job capturing the light and the colours, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. I remember that you said he fashioned this particular display on the memories of his mother's garden.
I'm sure it's Chihuly's glassware. I was able to admire them in the New York Botanical Garden, I love this artist and the colors he mixes for these magnificent creations. Well done Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. I love that he is now well-known all over the world!

It looks like an underwater world - a great image!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, it does, Philine, partly because it's on a mirrored surface. He actually fashioned this after his mother's garden, apparently.

I hope so too, going camping. You presented a very dazzling picture.
Ginnie Hart: Knowing you, Louis, you're be bedazzled wherever you go. Have a good one.
This glass is almost voluptuous
Ginnie Hart: That's a good word for his work, Bill, indeed!
There's an art gallery called Halcyon Gallery in central London.
They often exhibit Dale Chihuly's glass sculptures. Another frequent artist there is Bob Dylan. Wow, he is so talented. Not only can he sing and write songs, he can also draw!
Ginnie Hart: I like when different artists can be showcased in the same place, LC. Good for Halcyon Gallery!
Wat een bijzondere glasverzameling.
Alles schreeuwt om aandacht ;-0
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Marjolein. I like how you said that: "Everything screams for attention!"
Aren't you lucky to get an exhibit! His museum was one of the highlights of my trip to Seattle.
Ginnie Hart: Now that he is world-famous, Mary, it's easy to see him almost everywhere, even if it's just with a piece or two and not an entire exhibit. This particular exhibit is supposedly the largest in Europe since 20 years ago.
I have been getting error messages when I have tried to find your photo blog. Finally today I had success. Beautiful and colorful image. It makes me feel happy.
Ginnie Hart: Bless you, Ruthie, for being persistent. Our administrator has been upgrading our site and was making it secure. I'm glad you're back because I was missing you.
The sheer selection of colours is delightful, especially with that lighting.
Ginnie Hart: I so agree, Brian!
glass heaven Ginnie... it took a lot of talent to create all of these....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: I guess that's why he's the most famous glass sculptor in the world, Peter?!
Very fine glasswork.
Ginnie Hart: It doesn't get any better, Tom.
