A nice misty shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely that kind of day, Frank, which I remember well. Thanks.
Oh this just feels chilly and fresh! I love the misty look!
Ginnie Hart: Chilly and fresh was exactly what that day was like, Elizabeth. I'll never forget it. Thanks.
Jolie ambiance.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.

And we wouldn't want to live anywhere else, don't we, Ginnie. I love the misty look we often have. So to see there is frost on the trees. Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: That was one spectacular day which I'll never forget, Astrid. Bedankt.
I like atmosphere of this landscape Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. It was a spectacular day that I'll never forget. This is one of my left-over images that I never showed back then.

I hope you were well wrapped up that day, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Lisl. But to be honest, it was such a spectacular day that I have no recollection of what I wore or how cold it actually felt. We were short of eyes that day. I showed my best photos of our walk back then but found this straggler in my unassigned bin that I decided needed to come out. smile

A very pleasing wintery image Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. It was a day to remember...since we don't get days like this anymore...or lately.

This image reminds me of our wonderful, misty walks around Gorinchem!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Philine. All that fog without the frost. I'll never forget that day either!

A wonderful atmosphere. Looks frosty and misty -love it! Just the day for a brisk walk followed by coffee and cake.
Ginnie Hart: You nailed it, Alan. This is the only day like this here that I've seen in the last 9 years. I showed most of the images back then but this is a straggler I found in my unassigned bin. smile
Très belle ambiance dans cette prise de vue !
j'aime beaucoup .
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. It's what I expect winter to look like here where we live, but it rarely happens of late, I'm afraid.
One of the better Friday vessels...
Ginnie Hart: These barges are "status-quo" where we live, Larry. Ho-Hum, in other words. Thanks.
You live in a lovely place Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: To which you can well attest, Bill, which makes me smile. Thanks.
On est bien au coeur de l'hiver.
J'aime beaucoup ta photo.
Bonne journée Martine
Ginnie Hart: In the middle of winter, indeed, Pascale, but it could be colder here right now...like back in 2016 when this was taken. Merci.
nice foggy picture, one night, when i was living on the boat, the fog got so thick that i could hold out my arm and be unable to see my hand... i had to take the dog out and almost ran right into this crazy guy that lived in the next marina... scared the heck outta me lol
Ginnie Hart: HA! That's THICK, Elaine. The memories you have from that house boat!
Pardon, Ginnie et non Martine ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! I know you meant me, Pascale. smile

It looks a lot grimmer that that wonderful summer day when we visited you in the camper Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Chad. It does make a difference to pay attention to TIME of year when you visit places. HA!
Mooie winter rivierscene
Nu, het had ook vanmorgen gekund, was ook alles bevroren, maar niet mistig.
Fijn weekend
Ginnie Hart: Here also, Marjolein. Our temps are hovering around freezing point these next few days. But no fog, as you said. Bedankt.
Nicely composed through the trees and fog, Ginnie...
I did a Boat Friday today too... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Sudipto. Your Boat Friday wasn't up yet when I went to your site...but it is now.

We have such a frosty day today, but it is sunny. The roofs and cars are white, but the sun is already melting the frost away.
Ginnie Hart: It's sunny here, too, Philine, and very frosty-cold. We must be having the same kind of weather. smile

Oh, that very foggy day. I still have your picture on the wall, besides one that Philine took that same day. Or am I thinking of a time even longer ago? I just like a foggy atmosphere.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely that day, Louis! This was a straggler still in my unassigned bin. But when Philine was here before that, it was foggy, but without the extreme cold temps.
It looks very chilly, just like it is here in Shepshed today.
Ginnie Hart: We're actually getting a colder spell here, too, Brian, with temps hovering at the freezing point. I must have known. smile
I like the misty atmosphere
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie. So do I. smile

Looks like a very cold morning where my nose hairs freeze while breathing in the crisp, clean air! A great winterscape image with the frost that coats the vegetation.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely the way you described it, Steven. Thanks.

Those are the kind of days that make you jump out of bed and grab the camera! Happy Weekend!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Robin, except that good news for me, I didn't need to jump out of bed. smile

Just becoming visible thru the fog....very nice mood.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. I'm a glutton for fog like this.
I have a message for you :

Ginnie Hart: Thanks for the message, Marie. I'd rather have it twice than not at all. I'm sure it would mean a lot to Peter that you sent it, too.

Misty morning, I love it smile
Ginnie Hart: My kind of morning, Cherry. smile
lovely atmosphere, Ginnie. we had something like that here in Venlo but i did not have my camera with me then.
Ginnie Hart: This was back in 2016, Ayush, with the frost added to the scene. Today it is the coldest I ever remember seeing it here since arriving late 2009.
