The framing reminds me of looking up at artwork in a Cathedral tower.
Ginnie Hart: Well then! You just never know what something can remind us of, Cherry! smile
Its very nice, glad I didn't have to sew them all on.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Frank, and isn't that the truth!
C'est surprenant.
Ginnie Hart: It is, Martine, isn't it!
A plethora of buttons...
Ginnie Hart: Enough buttons to sink any Boat Friday, Larry!
That's wonderful! Think of the work!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Elizabeth, and I was a seamstress in my day!

I love this detail of that dress, Ginnie. All those buttons and the way they are sowed on... (LOL @ Frank....)
Ginnie Hart: The thing is, I have a feeling you'd notice if one of them fell off, Astrid. HA! Bedankt.

An intriguing thing, probably made by a button fetishized person Ginnie

I know when I buy a shirt there are usually one or two spare buttons sewn on but this...
Ginnie Hart: You're so right, Chad. Those spares can come in handy, but this...is ridiculous. smile

The sewing on with a "Z" stitch is quite uniform and makes me notice the one with the triangle (near the top and almost in the middle). Great shot.
Ginnie Hart: Good eye, Louis! Leave it to you. smile Thanks.
I can't sew a button on to save my life grin
Ginnie Hart: But if someone offered you a million pounds, I bet you'd figure it out, Bill, right? grin

Yikes! There's more buttons on that one garment than all mine put together. Wonder if they were hand-sown?
Ginnie Hart: Enough buttons to sink a ship, Alan! And yes, I'm sure they were hand-sewn.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sherri!
What an unusual use of buttons, they make a great pattern.
Ginnie Hart: I've never seen anything like it, Brian, truth be told.

Wow!! Quite a button frenzy captured here! By the time I "unbottoned" everything, the workday would be over with. smile A great visual find!
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Steven. I do hope you had a good weekend!
