Bonne année à  toi aussi !
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
Ooooh dizzying in a really great way!!
Happy New Year!
Ginnie Hart: It's been that kind of year for so many, Elizabeth. Happy New Year.

My first dizzy moment of the day. Happy New Year coming, too
Ginnie Hart: It's been that kind of year for so many of us, Lisl...you with Brexit and us with Trump! Let's hope we finally get "resolution" in the new year!

Definitely dizzy!
Ginnie Hart: Some years are like that, Chris! Hopefully there will be some kind of "resolution" on both Brexit and Trump this next year?!

It is a good thing I already had some "koffie" and nothing else wink, Ginnie. I really like this "dizzling" picture. Love the B&W here.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. This did seem appropriate as we end a crazy year in politics around the world. (sigh)

It's rather like one of those very clever optical illusions of a never-ending staircase. Happy New Year!
Ginnie Hart: Someone on FB said it looked like an Escher picture. I hadn't thought of that but I like the idea. Thanks, Alan.

As it’s still the Christmas season Ginnie, I’ll say Happy Christmas. I love this image of staircases. They were built for photography.
Ginnie Hart: Merry Christmas, then, Chris, and happy photo-making! smile

Oh yes, stay safe, the staircase perspective looks a bit dangerous to me - but we are full of HOPE!
Ginnie Hart: Full of hope, no matter what, Philine! Bedankt.
It is a beautiful black and white Ginnie, well balanced and well framed, I like it a lot. Nice end of the year, I come back tomorrow for the wishes
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. HAPPY NEW YEAR for tomorrow!
The captcha code is really painful, I had to go back to it 7 times
Ginnie Hart: We have had this complaint from others, Marie, and have mentioned it to our moderator. I really hope he can figure it out! sad In the meantime, you deserve a Gold Star for all your tries!

Passe un bon réveillon
JP
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
hey! looks like an MC Escher stairway!! cool pic, happy new years eve, sister, to you and yours! xoxox
Ginnie Hart: MC Escher is "more Dutch you cannot get," though I never knew that till I moved here, Elaine. It's hard to believe his art was much neglected, even here in the Netherlands, until later in his life. His first exhibition was at age 70! HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Every year we end up on the landing of the old year, take a break, shoot some firecrackers and then start climbing the new year. May it be an easy climb for you.
Ginnie Hart: The "changing of the years" has its rituals, Louis, that we all celebrate in one way or the other. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours!
I like all of the lines. Happy New Year
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ruthie, and the same to you!

All the best to you!
Ginnie Hart: To you as well, Anne. Merci.
This is a very fine picture Ginnie. Funnily enough I too thought of Escher
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bill. I never once thought of Escher but I'll now not think of anything else. smile
Ik zal er vanavond aandenken en een goede jaarwisseling en alvast het beste voor 2019
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. Happy changing of the years!

Definitely an Escher-like appeal to this! Great capture!
May you have a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you most kindly, Steven.
I love these dort of pictures, I've never actually managed to take a decent one myself though, I will try harder in 2019.
Ginnie Hart: These are fun, Brian, aren't they. I'm sure you are quite capable of doing the same sort of image!
A fine range of tones...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry.
Great perspective and patterns.........Happy New Year Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
