Très jolie photo et beau travail de désaturation.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine. Merci.
I like the distracted look on the girls face....
Ginnie Hart: I know, Frank. He was given the honor of holding Sinterklaas' staff but after awhile it must have gotten old!
I can't tell if she's crying or excitedly asking for her wish..
Ginnie Hart: The little girl on Sinterklaas' lap is a True Believer, Elizabeth, and is on her best behavior. The boy holding the staff has gotten a bit bored, I think!
What Fun!!!
Ginnie Hart: It actually was, Ray, especially in the windmill...a first for me.

Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Philine. It was definitely fun!

This is much more than the show of meeting Father Christmas over here, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Well, it's definitely a big thing here in the Netherlands, Lisl, much more so than in America. Or perhaps I should say much different!

A feast of expressions here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris. Kinda like how many people react to Christmas nowadays?!

One of those days that you want to do something else, Ginnie.
I love the selective colouring and all the expression on the faces. Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Astrid. I'm so glad you told me about Sinterklaas meeting up in the windmill that day otherwise I would have missed this altogether.
Bravo , j'aimerais bien savoir faire ça ..Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Once you know how to do it, Claudine, it's very easy, even if sometimes exacting. Merci.

One of Sinterklaas' little helpers does not seem to be pleased to be there smile
Ginnie Hart: After the honor of holding Sinterklaas' staff, he quickly became bored, I think, Alan!
Très sympa cette photo partiellement désaturée Ginnie.
Une ambiance festive.
Belle journée à  toi.
Ginnie Hart: It's a fun time of the year, Pascale, watching the kids. Merci.
Delightful picture Ginnie. The lad holding the pole looks as if he has seen it all beforegrin
Ginnie Hart: At first he was honored to hold Sinterklaas' staff, Bill, but he didn't know it would last forever, I'm sure! Thanks.
and a merry time was had by all.... i think lol... great picture!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Elaine, until the honor of holding Sinterklaas' staff wore off?! Thanks.

Oh dear, someone looks a little bored Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Spot on, Chad. The original honor of holding Sinterklaas' staff wore off.

This Sinterklaas did some interracial kid nabbing and the little girl says "Nooooooo, I don't like this dark chocolate". The boy with the staff is bored with Sint's talks and may be wishing for a cookie.
Ginnie Hart: The boy with the staff was at first honored, of course, but had no idea it would end up so boring. Indeed! smile
The selective colour popping is so well done, you are an expert at this technique Ginnie. Great shot of these two, each with something different on their minds.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Brian. I love doing it and find certain photos perfect for how my mind sees it. Thank you.

Great selective coloring captured here!! The boy appears to want to be somewhere else. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Steven. I think the honor turned into something he wasn't expecting.
Love how you used selective color. What an expression!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.
I feel a bit sorry for the lad, Ginnie. I'm sure he would rather be doing something else; something more exciting than holding Sinterklaas' staff. You are a wizard when it comes to selective colouring.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Beverly. I think the boy was excited at first but quickly lost interest.
Leuk de gekleurde hulp Zwarte Piet, die het duidelijk `zwaar` heeft ;-0
Ginnie Hart: It was fun to watch it all play out, Marjolein, as you can imagine. smile
great treatment Ginnie... the chimney sweep looks apprehensive in this shot...petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Chimney sweep is about the sum of it, Peter. grin

lachende gezichten op die ene na...

een vrolijke foto I

greetings
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Willy. It was such a fun day for me to see this in the windmill. smile
i like the selective colouring here, Ginnie. somehow i get the feeling the girl is not absolutely thrilled to be in that role.
Ginnie Hart: It actually is a little boy, Ayush, but I agree with your point. Bah Humbug! smile

I see that your site is still down, as was mine until an hour ago. I will let John know.
Lovely shot, Ginnie and effective colour popping!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. (My SC site is finally back up after server challenges, apparently, since Tuesday night.)

What a great contrast...Captured the feelings.
Ginnie Hart: Thank, Bonnie. It was fun. smile
The look and the smut on the lads face remind me of a chimney sweep!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Cherry. I guess they go down the chimney with Sinterklaas????
Very nice work Ginie, bravo!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.
Where's the rum??
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, let's see here..... smile
