Jolie complicité entre le père et son enfant.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. It was very sweet.
What a sweet photo! Nice timing... and processing - it's gorgeous!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. This little boy was one of the children that day who was scared of Sinterklaas. But Dad and Sinterklaas worked around it by having Sinterklaas stand behind them when the boy wasn't looking. They'll at least still have the pics with Sinterklaas in them, even though the boy isn't sitting on his lap.

Great portrait captures with charismatic smiles!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. You know this one will go in his photo album. smile
They certainly seem to be Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It took a few minutes, Frank, as I told Elizabeth, because this little boy was one of the children that day who was scared of Sinterklaas. But Dad and Sinterklaas worked around it by having Sinterklaas stand behind them when the boy wasn't looking. They'll at least still have the pics with Sinterklaas in them, even though the boy isn't sitting on his lap.
Lovely work Ginnie. Great portrait with Santa Or St Nicolas???
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. This one happens to be Sinterklaas, the Dutch version, of course. smile

It is disappointing for adults when children are scared of Santa Claus, but you can understand it
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Lisl. It all worked itself out before my very eyes and was brilliant. Sinterklaas himself knew how to solve the challenge!

What a cute image - and your procession is fabulous!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Philine. It was a real treat to see Sinterklaas in our cozy windmill. And the good thing (for me) is that there were very few parents/children there...maybe because it had started to rain?
Très belle prise de vue , j'aime beaucoup ta photo
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. It was a real treat for me to see Sinterklaas in the windmill. smile

This is adorable. What a great smile and yes this is what it is all about. Being HAPPY. Too bad we don't know this man. HE would love to have this picture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. I have a feeling his wife has a very good photo of this already, but, yes, if I knew who he was, I'd give him a copy of this side view.

I remember this stage of my life, many many years ago..
Ginnie Hart: I think this is a part of my childhood that never happened, Chris, because up until I was 9 years old, we lived in a town of 200 people. I have a feeling you had to go to a nearby bigger town to see Santa...which never happened for us kids. I guess we didn't know what we missed???
Très jolie photo et des yeux pétillants.
Saint Nicolas fait briller les yeux.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: You said that perfectly, Pascale. Merci. It's such a joyous time of the year for many. smile

The innocence of young children at this time of year even makes an old cynic like me see their enjoyment.
Ginnie Hart: No Humbugs, then, even from you, Alan?! Sometimes we need to believe in the joy and expectation!
Oh, wat leuk, al deze lieve stralende gezichten.
(Misschien reageer ik minder, ben ergens anders onderdak)
Ginnie Hart: It was fun to see Sinterklaas in the windmill, Marjolein...a first for me. (I do hope you're okay?!)
Lovely picture Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill.

A great portrait of the three of them. And with a Piet in the background smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Louis. And don't forget Amerigo, the horse!!! smile
This has a nice feel to it Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It was a cheery day for the Kids of all ages, Brian. smile
Oh how happy this portrait is! Perfect for this season filled with joy.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie. That was definitely the point. smile
The tot's apprehension is palpable here.
Ginnie Hart: As long as Sinterklaas was behind him, he was okay, Mary. Short memory? smile

a fascinating portrait
Ginnie Hart: It was especially fascinating to see it all unfold, Sherri, since the little boy was quite scared of Sinterklaas. It was fun to see how Daddy and Sinterklaas worked around it.
Great loving expressions... I like Sinterklaas better than ours...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. Our Santa is considerably more jolly...compared to...ecclesiastical??

A wall hanger! This is classic and very timely.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun,Bonnie, isn't it...and so different from the Santas we grew up with.
Santa is a Bishop?
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Ray. More BISHOP you cannot get. "Saint Nicholas of Myra, also known as Nicholas of Bari, was an early Christian bishop of the ancient Greek city of Myra in Asia Minor during the time of the Roman Empire. He is revered by many Christians as a saint." (Wiki)
