Oh... I like this photo smile

There are so many books... It makes me think of a potential 'Book Friday' smile
Ginnie Hart: I bet a LOT of people out there would LOVE a Book Friday, Cherry. Maybe you could start it??? smile
Happy sails and have a wonderful visit... i love your boat today....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter, on both counts.
Have fun!
Ginnie Hart: We plan to, Michael! Thank you.

Ha Ha

A shoe disguised as a boat...now I have seen Everything!! smile
Ginnie Hart: The Dutch seem quite amused by turning their wooden shoes into boats, Ray. We see it often here. smile

A great picture and I am glad they come by airplane, that is quite more fast than this ship smile
I noticed the Maltese Cross on the front sail....
Ginnie Hart: So glad for airplanes, MLMA, indeed. I never noticed the Maltese Cross till you mentioned it. Good eye!

A clog with sails - Dutch or wot!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Chris! smile
I guess it floats?
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure it does, Michael, though I'm not sure it's been tested?

Oh, what a pleasure for you -Ruth and her hubby - enjoy your days together - this image is a lovely welkom groet - echt Nederlands!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. We had a great 6 days together, both here in the Netherlands and in Paris this week. We're so lucky to be so close to everything!

Hope you got everything ready in time, Ginnie - it all sounded breathless yesterday!
Ginnie Hart: Actually, everything was done in time, Lisl, and we ended up loving every minute of our days together. Thank you.

Très original avec ce sabot.
Ginnie Hart: More Dutch you cannot get, Martine. smile
Have a great time taking them around !
Ginnie Hart: We had a fabulous time, Bill, retracing many happy moments from when you and Ange were with us, both in Amsterdam and here nearby where we live, like the Loevestein Castle.
It must be difficult getting at the books behind Ginnie. How/where is Astrid? Did I miss or forget something?
Ginnie Hart: The lady owning this collection of tins and books seemed to have it all arranged like in a museum, Chad. All show, no go, in other words. smile Astrid? She was getting ready for our guests and was with us the entire time!
Only the Dutch would go to sea in a wooden shoe with sails. Have fun with Ruth!
Ginnie Hart: The Dutch lead the way on all sorts of things like this, Mary, and can get away with it. HA! We had a great time with Don and Ruth!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elaine. It was a great time together...exactly what we wanted for our time together.

BTW, I have left a comment on your last 3 images but I think the first two comments must have gone into your Black Hole somewhere???

The conversion enhances. Excellent. Enjoy your visitors.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Louis, on both counts. We had a great 6 days with Don and Ruth, spending 3 of them in Paris!
Great! Are you taking them to Belgium too? So they can say they have been to another country? wink
Ginnie Hart: Actually, we took the fast train to Paris instead, LC. But Ruth has already been there 8 times, so we basically were visiting a special place with them. It was all good!
have a wonderful time...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry. We did! smile
I love this photo, Ginnie! And the little shoe is perfect for the sailboat!
Enjoy your family, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, dear Elizabeth. We had a great visit...but were glad to come back home (from 3 fast days in Paris) in time to wish you happy birthday! smile
Superb image Ginnie! Have a great time with your family.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard...and we did!
Tu vas avoir une belle visite et j'aime bien le petit sabot bateau de ton image
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. We had a great visit, finishing up our last 3 days in Paris! Don and Ruth are now in Provence, near Avignon, for a week. One day Astrid and I want to spend some time there...near YOUR place, I think?
Beautiful composition! That wooden boat is cute!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Charles.
A corner of your living room?
Ginnie Hart: Not ours, Tom, but of a friend who collects tins. smile
I know you are enjoying every second!
Ginnie Hart: We did, Robin!!! My love is the Netherlands; Ruth's is Paris. So we got to see/share both.
beautiful shot, Ginnie. i like your presentation here and the treatment as well - the result looks so clean and upright. have a great time ahead.
Ginnie Hart: You're always so kind and complimentary, Ayush. Thank you. We had a great time together.
I am sure this boat would "clog" up the canal ... smile
Ginnie Hart: Well, maybe not, Rob. HA! The Dutch sure seem to know what they're doing when it comes to their canals.
