This is very confronting, Ginnie.

One can only hope ole Tiffo and ole Ridgey Didge have enough working grey cells between them to get tickets to Netherlands rather than Dutch East Indies aka Indonesia...
Ginnie Hart: Lest we forget, Ray, that LOVE always wins.

Ridge has assured us they know what they're doing, so let's hope Tiff keeps him on track. HA!
So touching! Enjoy your friends!
Ginnie Hart: Lest we forget that love always wins, Robin? Thanks.
This is a nice memorial Ginnie... Wednesday will be a sad day around the world !

Enjoy your week with Chris and Chad... and say hello for me....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: 9/11 will always be "big" all over the world, Peter. Let's just hope we all will learn from it...and believe that love wins. Thanks.

I have some problem to understand these words as kind of a memorial of that dimension - what did happen on 9/11 is quite more than 'madness' - very sad thoughts and feelings are going back to the 11 September - every year -and especially in this year considering the situation in Syria ...

I wish you four persons a very lovely and interesting time together! I'm sure it will be wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: I would love to know what this particular Altar of Madness was made for, Philine. I really have no clue. I just felt it was appropriate for this week.

You should see the itinerary Astrid has planned for us this week, with maps. It'll be great! smile

Is this in Netherlands Ginnie? I would not have guessed until I read your comment. I am packing and am only bringing three suits. I have read Ray's comment and will take extra care to get on the right plane. Looking forward to this very much.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely not in the Netherlands, Chad, but not too far away in Luxembourg City.

I have no fears whatsoever but that Chris will carefully direct you to the right plane and seat, Chad. We're so looking forward to our time with the two of you. You'll LOVE what Astrid has planned for each day. smile
Thank you for posting this Ginnie. I believe the national monument will finally open next spring, and it looks to be done incredibly well and thoughtfully.

I will celebrate my Abby Gail's 31st birthday on the 11th, it's always a welcome distraction.

Have a wonderful time with Chris and Chad - I know you will!
Ginnie Hart: We have a Vision & Verb lady whose birthday is the 11th, so I 'spect many of us know someone who will never forget that date. Happy Birthday to your Abby Gail.

And YES. We plan to have a great time with the guys. You should see Astrid's itinerary with maps for each day. smile

Wonderful memorial. It is only a small group of madmen/madwomen that spoil it for the rest of the world.
You are right, there always will be love too, and that will survive.
12 years...time flies.
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't have said it better, MLMA. I'd love to know more about these Altars of Madness....maybe this is the link? http://www.casino-luxembourg.lu/en/Exhibitions/Altars-of-Madness

But, Ginnie...don't forget ole Ridgey Didge is genetically disposed to wandering off towards South Asia in search of egg-based breakfasts, with roti, cumquat marmalade and mango lassi [i.e. Indian sub-continent, where his ancestors all learned the sabre dance].

I stand ready to make an emergency dash to Hyderabad, to rescue and re-direct them if required...
Ginnie Hart: HA! Ray to the rescue might come in handy, Ray, so we will greatly appreciate any extra attention you might pay us this week. THANK YOU! grin

Quite so Ginnie: it is madness
Ginnie Hart: May love's flicker snuff out the darkness, Chris!
A dramatic message Ginnie. Have a great week with the terrible twosome
Ginnie Hart: Very powerful message, indeed, Bill. And, yes, we'll keep those two guys in shape, trust me. You should see the itinerary Astrid has worked up for them. You thought yours was bad/good. HA!
A great tribute in this tragic September 11th, hoping that it never reproduces anywhere regrettably I am hardly optimistic so much the madness of the people is big
Ginnie Hart: The madness is bigger than big, Marie. I hardly know what to think about it all! Let's keep believing that love always wins!

Nice frame, clarity, lighting
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Helys.
Will you have medical assistance on hand with these 2 fruitcakes Ginnie.Good luck with them both.
Ginnie Hart: I have s feeling Astrid will know exactly what to do if I can't calm them down myself, Mick! grin

These are tough days, and you know how I feel about it.

And how terrific for you and Astrid to have Chris and Chad visit for the week! Have a blast. I'll see you in a few hours. smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Ruth, I do know how you feel about it. Me,too. But we'll talk more about it on Skype...soon.

We'll have a blast with the guys...even if they don't mind their manners. grin

It is kind of a violent way to talk about love but to each his own. Have fun with the stooges.
Ginnie Hart: My take on it, Mary, is that in spite of the violence everywhere, love always wins. It's a good week to remember that.

It's only "coincidental" that the guys will be with us THIS week, of course. smile

A sombre reminder.

Hope you have a wonderful time with Chris and Chad
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Anne...and thank you!
We know there is love... fortunately.
Have fun with Chad and Chris!
Ginnie Hart: The day there is no longer love, Wim, is the day we all need to be dead and buried!

We plan to have a great time with Chad and Chris!!! smile

Enjoy the company.

Your pic - look here : http://www.casino-luxembourg.lu/en/Exhibitions/Altars-of-Madness

Something about death metal bands. A genre I don't understand, but with the worst song titles.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Louis, I found that link for my reply to Astrid. It kinda makes you wonder, indeed. But it stands on its own for me...as a reminder of this week in history.

We totally plan to enjoy our company, of course! smile
I take it you have notified the police so that only the most modest of actions is taken against such suspicious individuals?
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Tom. We have all our bases covered! smile
Amazing memorialsmile Greetings
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Zielona. I thought so, too.
It's certainly on peoples minds, someone mistakenly gave me a receipt today with this date written on it.
I'm sure you will have great fun over these coming days! smile
Ginnie Hart: It's always on people's minds, I'm sure, Martin, throughout the entire year. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to worry about such events any more!

By now the Boys have come and gone...and a great time was had by all!
Powerful and graphic Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, John. Thanks.
Quite a fine memorial Ginnie.
Have a great time with Chris and Chad!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard. We had a GREAT time with the Boys!

Have a nice week
Ginnie Hart: My grandson was born rhe year before and was one when this happened and is now 13, so I always remember how long ago it was, Oscar. Thanks.
An amazing piece of art--it looks three dimensional.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. It sure catches the eye!
What? You're not inviting me again? ;p
Been waiting for your invitation card for more than 12 years, Boots. ;p
Ginnie Hart: OK, then, LC. You are invited...once I know what your real name is!!! grin
Someday love may win.
Ginnie Hart: Someday, Michael. Someday. There is always Hope.
