Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. It's hard to believe it's been 4 years. So much has happened in those years and the time has flown!

Fabulous picture, what a beautiful light and I love the title.
IHVJ
Ginnie Hart: Blame it on the internet, indeed, MLMAMV. We are so lucky! Hartstikke bedankt. IHVJ.
I am so glad you two met. I am also blessed to know the two of you.
Ginnie Hart: You are such a sweetheart, Rags. Thank you. Sometimes we still pinch ourselves in unbelief! smile

I love this abundance of sun light poured out around this chair -a fine light -an-shadow-study full of deeper symbolism.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, dear Philine. Lots of symbolism, inderdaad. smile

Time flies and I hope the sun continues to shine on you both
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Astrid often says she really hopes she can have some retirement years together. Just 6 more years! smile

Happy "first meeting anniversary". A turning point in both your lives.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sheila, and EXACTLY.
What a lovely feeling of solitude and peace this picture has Ginnie. Double congratulations for today, being a Grandparent is great, I'm looking at my 4 year old granddaughter as I type this, the schools are closed as the teachers are on strike!
Ginnie Hart: It's a good place to be, Brian, in peace and solitude. Thank you. And now you'll always know how many years we've had by looking at your granddaughter. smile

Congratulations! 4 years is a long time!! smile

Also, what a perfect shot. Where was the light coming? Is there a window above that chair? It's very cool!

Btw, you gotta post a photos from Sinterklaasdag! Love to see that that!! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Emily. In some ways 4 years does seem like a long time, but most of the time it seems like a breeze!

There was a light from high up somewhere, that shone through into this room. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I ever looked up to see from where!

You wanna see Sinterklaas photos? smile How about these posts from last year:

That's enough to keep you busy. smile

That's a sparkling light.
Delightful~
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear LC. We're loving the celebration!
Sorry for this late delay.
Off to Belgium last week.
Had a lovely time in Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels.
Ginnie Hart: No problem, LC. Priorities!!!! I counted 4 of them. We LOVE those cities.
That's certainly a bright light to mark the occasion Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet. I thought so, too. smile
nice image & compromise, all the best
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Juan Carlos. Muchas gracias.
Happy Anniversary Ginnie. I love this picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Frances. Thank you!
I imagine those are kneelers rather than cushions - looks terribly uncomfortable!
Ginnie Hart: Kneelers, indeed, Tom. I'm sure you're right. smile
A lovely and fitting image to mark the occasion, Ginnie. A bottle of champagne needs to be opened for a toast to many more happy years together. Celebrate!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Beverly. Now, if only I had a bottle of champagne! A glass of wine works for us....

Ginnie Hart: How beautifully said, Larry! Thank you.
Hope you're having a nice glass of something to celebrate with.
Elaine and I will raise our glasses to you this evening, any excuse to crack open a bottle !
Ginnie Hart: Awwww. So sweet of you Martin (and Elaine). We did indeed celebrate with a glass of wine at dinner (which we always do anyway) and with something "lekkers" (as Astrid says) afterwards. A specialty drink. smile Thank you.

...and a nice cushion to give a soft landing. When time passes quickly it normally means that you're having a good time. Congrats to you both.
Ginnie Hart: That means we're having a ball, George, because time has never passed so quickly! smile Thank you, as always.
Absolutely beautiful image. I wonder if I would be able to capture the light the way you did...
