I never get bored being next to these fishing-boats. All the cables and pulleys and nets, it almost looks like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
The fishermen know what they do though.
Wonderful POV, love it and YES the sky was that blue smile
Ginnie Hart: It IS a giant jigsaw puzzle, MLMA, with every piece fitting exactly where it needs to be. I'm sure the fishermen know everything like the back of their hand! Bedankt.

Great quote!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Rags!
Thanks for sharing our love for cranes Ginnie... what a fantastic complicated capture....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: These represent at least 2 fishing boats side by side, Peter, which makes it even more complicated. smile Thanks.
The big fishing boats are works of art in themselves with all their ropes, pulleys and winding gear mechanisms.
Ginnie Hart: Yes they are, Sheila. I totally agree! Thanks.
The Dutch take knitting very seriously it seems. ;-)
Ginnie Hart: It's the warp and woof of life, Richard! grin

If fishing is like this I'll try something a little less complicated thank you Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Chris. That's what I thought! Thanks.
This is beautiful Ginnie - I just love the color of the sky. Great title smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Thomas. It was a great day for sightseeing.
or open a bottle of wine and let someone else sort it out
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHA. Sounds like a good idea, Bill! smile
used a polarizer filter on the camera?
Ginnie Hart: No polarizer, Chantal, but some PS boosting.
Ha! So what can we catch, G?
Not herrings again. wink
Ginnie Hart: Good question about what they catch, LC. I never thought to ask Astrid about that part. smile
The equipment on these boats must be hard to handle whilst in rough seas Ginnie. Great Shot.
Ginnie Hart: I 'spect so, Frances. What a livelihood! Thanks.

A partial boat Friday! I wonder if anyone could describe what they all do from the content of your cropped photo?
Ginnie Hart: As they say, Mike, half a loaf is better than no vacation at all! grin Good question!

Yes, I can understand that. No doubt it all means something to those that need to know.
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing it's as clear as mud to many people, Alan. smile
Masts and rigging always pass muster for me smile
Ginnie Hart: Glad to hear it, John. grin Thanks.
They all have a purpose, it's just a matter of working through pulling a few levers and loose rope ends. Was that any help !!!
Ginnie Hart: It sounds like you're a pro, Martin. smile Thanks.
I hope this is not a metaphore for your life this moment wink
A fine and sunny image!
Ginnie Hart: Nothing at all complicated about my life, Wim. I've decided I'm already in heaven. grin Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: HA! Beats me, Rob. grin
Quite a lot to get your head around Ginnie but I am sure they are all experts. Wonderful blue sky and great perspective.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Janet. I'm very sure they all know what to do with this mess!
Almost the ultimate pattern shot Ginnie, the colours in this are excellent.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Pointing to the sky, they got into a tangle. Best leave them to rust and get a new boat smile

About fishing - I'll cook it if you clean it wink
Ginnie Hart: Here they were at rest, Louis, before another work week. But I'll have no problem cleaning if you do the cooking. THANK YOU.
Ola! Ginnie...I think I'd give fishing a miss, thanks, after just visiting Peter's photo today, and his boat listing in the water, and well, this one, has way too many lines for my liking! ;0

Oh, and I have no idea why, but your Captcha below gave me Hebrew letters...really? Eek! How do I type those in? ;-)
Ginnie Hart: The simple pole with one line is enough for me, Alex! HA! It's good to see you again. I have no idea what those Hebrew letters are about!
I like the quote, and blue and yellow.....a winner. I perfer my rod when fishing wink
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Aksel. A simple rod and reel works for me, too! smile
Oh là là !!!Je m'entortille dans tous ces entrelassés,j'en perd le fil !!
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, isn't it, Jean-Louis. smile Merci.
Re Alexandra's comment: I had the same thought! Peter's photo suggested a dunking was imminent, and yours with all those pulleys and lines to get tangled. (Not to mention that it goes out into rough waters and I get terribly sea-sick!) I'll stay on shore, and be happy if I even SEE a trout!
Ginnie Hart: HAHA! I love it, Patrushka. Just a simple line and pole works fine for me. smile

Fishing seems to be very complicated with this tangled mess of cables into each other !!!!!! Superb shot. Nice WE Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: And we thought fishing was fun, right, Tede?! smile Merci.
Or... take a complicated photo! smile Works for me...
Ginnie Hart: HA! Thanks, Larry. smile
Fascinating capture Ginnie, really like the way you cropped this shot. The lines and patterns are so captivating.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, John!
Nice picture and colors! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Victoria.
My goodness - it looks about like my own fishing line... tangled tangled!!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Let's hope not, dear Elizabeth! smile
I am captivated by the complex arrangement of lines and the brilliant yellow/blue color combination. Life is indeed complex, although we do our best to try to simplify. Wonderful post Ginnie.
