It does look like it is hanging on for dear life.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. It was very windy that day in a friend's garden!

Yes, I knew- one of your wonderful macro photos you are a master in! The wings of this insect are a masterwork by nature! (The only word I don't like is 'baby' - so often used in America, Europe to adress a woman, girl...)
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if you are familiar with that catchphrase from the 70s, Philine, when it was made into a motivational poster? I agree with your general thought about the use of the term 'Baby,' of course!
Thanks, as always, for your comment.

Fabulous, absolutely wonderful.
Love the colours, love the 'hand and feet' this little fella or girl uses to hang on....
Yep, I will hang in there until 7P, then it is weekend smile
I see your sparkling eyes while you are looking at your macro's, you have lots of fun with them and I think you are getting 'the hang' of it, so please, you keep 'hanging' too gringrin....
A likey to me.
Ginnie Hart: You have been so supportive of my efforts, MLMA, and you know how much I appreciative that. Hartstikke bedankt! I'll keep hanging in there, just as I know you will, too!
i was thinking of getting into macro photography, but, it seems it's all bugs and flowers, am i right or am i right? hahahaha nice shot ginnie!!
Ginnie Hart: Actually, you're very observant, Elaine. I'm sure there's more to catch with the macro lens, but I will have to discover that! In the meantime, I'm enjoying the flowers and bugs. smile

This is fantastic Ginnie, the colours, everything!! The dragonfly looks so relaxed resting its chin on the petal, posing waiting for you to take the picture. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Linda. To be honest, it was very windy that day and I saw this fella hanging on for dear life. smile Looks are deceiving, of course, so maybe it WAS posing for me.
This looks like a brilliant start, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Tom. Thank you.
Ha! How old is your Baby?
Her legs are so hairy! smile
Ginnie Hart: Now, if only I knew the average lifespan of a dragonfly, LC, maybe I could guesstimate her age. smile Thanks.

LOVE IT!! I see you don't need a speedy course from me ;-)
Ginnie Hart: Actually, I COULD use a speedy course from you, Frida. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to see what/how you do it! Are you close (within 3 inches) or farther away, etc., etc.? So many questions. smile But thanks anyway!
Ginnie, you've done yourself proud. This is a stunning shot. Absolutely smack on, you nailed it. Well, figuratively speaking. ;-)
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Alex. This was fun. smile

Fantastic image!
Ginnie Hart: He was thinking too much about the wind to even notice me, Brian, I think. Then again, you may be right, since I was only 3 inches away from him! smile Thanks.
Un magnifico macro, muy bien detallado y con unos tonos y luz excelentes. Felicidades.
