You can never get enough Ginnie, a very pleasing scene.
Ginnie Hart: You're right, Les. smile Thanks.
It could be a harbor scene in North Carolina... if North Carolinians gave their boats Norwegian names. smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Larry--it could be 'most anywhere! Thank you.
Beautiful presentation, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Graeme.

A busy shot...of working boats at rest.

Love it, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Working boats at rest, Ray. I like that. Fit for the weekend. Thanks.

What's keeping us, lets go, start the engines and we 'sail off'....
Great picture of that beautiful harbour, love the ripples in the water.
Ginnie Hart: We'll be off in a minute or two... grin Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA.

This is a jumble of marine endeavour Ginnie: but I bet they catch a lot of fish
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Chris. I think you nailed it. smile Thanks. Now we're off to Ghent for the weekend....
Just realised it is Friday. Boats...I had better go and lie down until the brain starts working.
Ginnie Hart: HA! My days were all mixed up, too, Bill, because Astrid took Friday off and we've had a long weekend, driving back-n-forth to Ghent. Now we still have Sunday free. That's nice. smile Hope you're having a good weekend!
PS

It is a very nice picture
Ginnie Hart: Aw, shucks! Thanks, Bill. smile
Cuckoo ginnie, I am crossed(spent) there, it is just below Oslo, attractive photo... for the dream, I know, and yes... kiss and good weekend...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, right nearby Oslo...one of their bedroom communities, I guess?! smile Merci, Pierrot.
your treatment suits this image.
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Chantal. Bedankt.

Working boats always have a superior presence in pictures. Have a good weekend Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, John. You're so right!
Some strange sights here - a boat with a patch, a radiator stuck on the back of a boat, and one named Odin. Love it, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! A patch and a radiator. I know that's what they look like but I'm sure they're something different altogether. But who knows. As Astrid says, we didn't study the subject. grin Thanks, Mary.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Vintage.
Indeed, I love harbors and boats and all the light and color reflected from the waters. You have a wonderful weekend as well Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Doug. There's something therapeutic about harbors and boats. Maybe they give the impression we're having fun and rest! smile

Great conversion effect. It looks as if these people are really cool for the weekend. Do you think they may be growing good stuff in yonder hills?
Ginnie Hart: Who knows about the yonder hills, Louis, but they sure are having fun right in front of us. smile Thanks.
Yes indeed Ginnie. Norway must have a fine collection. Nice shot
Ginnie Hart: Better than fine, Janet. Yes! Thanks. smile

I really love the reflections and ripples on the water.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherie. So do I.
Nice antinque colouring, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
What a motley collection of boats for a Friday.
Ginnie Hart: I think this is more of a working harbor than an R&R harbor, Brian. smile Thanks.
I see the nearest boat has been patched up
Ginnie Hart: I know that looks like a patch but Astrid thinks it's a protection for when they haul in the nets. Bust as she says, she didn't study the subject. HA! Anyway, thanks, Richard, for the comment.

I like the woods in the backdrop. I have to agree the setting is familiar. I could see this in Morro Bay to name a few Cali places.

Have a relaxing weekend to you both. It's fruit picking and bbq season around these parts smile
Ginnie Hart: Moro Bay. Ahhh, one of my favorite places in the world from when our kids were little and we would hunt for sand dollars! Happy memories, Maria. Thanks.
Beautiful photo and I like the effect you used here. Very nostalgic!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Charles. You're a sweetheart. Tusen takk. smile
How can I not relax when I look at your photos, G! smile
My heart is as calm as the sea in your photo. smile
Ginnie Hart: Awww. Very sweet and kind of you, LC. smile Thank you.

Love these harbor scenes. The boats are works of art all unto themselves!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marcie. There's something therapeutic for me at harbors. I usually see them when I'm having R&R, I guess! smile

i would have a great time in this port!
Ginnie Hart: I think we all would, Dennis. smile Thanks.
J'imagine la difficulté à rester concentré dans ces lieux. Il est tellement passionnant de contempler et de prendre en photo tous ces détails du port maritime...
Ginnie Hart: You could spend a long time in a harbor like this, Olivier, and only touch the surface of phtographic possibility! Merci.
