Rock My Boat!

Tot Ziens = See You Later

Outside the old City Hall museum in Gorinchem, Netherlands.

Tomorrow Astrid and I fly to Oslo for a week's mail-boat cruise along the fjords of the Norwegian coastline.

We'll be back the second week of April.

Though gone, I'm still keeping my turn at Vision and Verb on Monday, 4 April,

talking about What Rocks Your Boat.  I'll reply once I return.

Well spotted and captured.Have a great cruise sound like a great thing to do
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Vintage. You can imagine how excited we are! smile
Oh! Is Oslo - Bergen? then you go back on board the Hurtigruten coastal express to Kirkenes? A beautiful trip I made this trip several times before m'enbarquer in Longyearbyen on Svalbard for the ride on a ice-breaker! I wish you a wonderful trip and Ginnie and Astrid goodbye to this strange little man full of light!!
Ginnie Hart: We fly to Oslo for a long weekend, Mathilde, with blogger friends. Then we fly to Kirkenes on Monday and will take the cruise to Bergen, going North to South. It should be gorgeous. We can hardly wait! I love that you already know what we will see. smile No dogsled excursions this time of the year, though. sad

32 hours, 1920 minutes, 115200 seconds........ but who is counting... grin
I only saw bits ans pieces of the Lord of the Ring movies, these creatures remind me of that movie....
It gives me a smile, for those two little rascals are out of reach of anybody, it is like they stole apples and wave to the shop owner... grin...
Love the treatment, 2 more workdays and then 'Norway here we come' smilesmile
Ginnie Hart: Two little rascals, indeed. I love your description of them, MLMA. They do seem a bit sheepish about something. grin

We'll be on that plane before we know it!
Creepy bunch, reminds me of Lord of the Ring or Harry Potter characters
Ginnie Hart: Exactly as Astrid said, Marion. You both are on the same page about them. smile

Haughtiness, I like this kind(genre) of sculptures, I often make photos as that there the teinne is very beautiful soft kiss attractive ginnie...
Ginnie Hart: They're waving directly at you, Pierrot. smile Merci.
That is a bit of fun, well spotted Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: i love when someone thinks these things up, Chad. Life is too short otherwise. Thanks.

Haha- na, ik denk maar eens dat het niet mocht moeilijk zijn om tegen deze beiden 'grausliche' oldies 'Tot Ziens' te zeggen - ik wens jullie een prachtige, gelukkige reis! I heard of this mail- boat- cruise (Hurtig line?) - it must be wonderful like a dream voayage (I don't know anybody who was not enthousiast about it!)
Ginnie Hart: We already know two others who have taken this trip, Philine, so we know how wonderful it is. And it's almost in our backyard, relatively speaking (remember that I'm from America!). Thanks for your travel wishes. smile

mail boat cruise, never heard of that!!! well i'm sure you two will have a grand time smile bon voyage!! oh and Silvia DOES have a big family lol
Ginnie Hart: It should be a memory of a lifetime, Elaine. We really are excited about it. Thank you. I will compare it to the big cruises I've been on in my past life...but probably no comparison. 500 passengers sound good, compared to 3-4000. smile
Have a good holiday Ladies.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. We totalloy expect to. smile

Ginnie Hart: Astrid and I laughed so hard over coming back looking like these characters, Elsabe. Thanks for that. We're actually hoping we'll have some sun while we're gone! And yes, we'll try not to be thinking too much about gaining weight and just enjoy ourselves...for a memory of a lifetime! We'll both take enough photos to sink the ship, I'm sure. grin

I think they are waving goodbye to you. I hope you locked your door before you took off for a week; these fellows look like they could get into mischief in your flat while you are away!
Ginnie Hart: When we leave a few hours from now, Patrushka, we will definitely lock the door. Actually, it happens to automatically lock when we close it so we need to make sure we remember our key! smile Thanks a million.

Ginnie Hart: These are art forms sitting on the outside of our museum, Bram. Too cute, right?! smile Thanks.
it really is unfair. do you notice how fat the pigeons are? they don't share their bounty with the gorgoyles. but honestly, i suspect gorgoyles eat pigeons when nobody is looking. and of course, pigeon poo is probably a delicacy. but still, since we feed the pigeons, one would think they'd be generous with their stoned friends...
Ginnie Hart: It makes sense to me, Seraphine. Too bad not everyone is so enlightened! smile
