This made me laugh. So not what I expected. A great shot while the passenger, I hope! smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! grin Yes, I was the passenger, Margaret. Astrid knew this place was coming up and prepared me for it. It's the first of its kind I've ever seen.

smile LOL at Ray and I can say, yes she is close to heaven.
I have been on this road for several times so I knew this was coming.
You did a great job taking this picture while the car was going at least 70 miles p/h.
Fabulous treatment and whenever we need a crane we know where to get it smile
Ginnie Hart: I was so glad you had warned me this was coming, MLMA, knowing how much I love cranes. I've never seen such a place in my life...but it makes sense there'd be one, of course. smile Hartstikke bedankt.

What a brilliant find! Almost surrealistic because I don't see any buildings- oh, a rent-a-crane place- yes, there are now some places in the world where they are needed... -where in Netherland might we be? - in de Randstad presumedly?
(Why did you choose the processing? It is reality!)
Ginnie Hart: This was on our way home from the B&B windmill in Groningen province, Philine, and is on the A28 going south in Overijssel province between Zwolle and Nunspeet (not in de Randstad). Isn't that fun? Astrid already knew about it and warned me so that I was prepared. smile I chose the texture because....who knows! grin

Ginnie Hart: Yes, that does remind me of you, Elaine, now that you mention it. smile But not many cranes like this where you are?? grin

I do like this Ginnie. It would be no trouble finding these people to rent one.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad. I'm trying to figure out a project for Astrid and me. We'd have so much fun figuring one of these out. grin

Ja, wij verhuren die... beetje duur om zelf aan te schaffen

Yep, they are for rent here, too expensive to buy
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love them just standing there, knowing they're for rent, Chantal! smile
There is a melody to them. They look like they're dancing.
Ginnie Hart: Ohhhh, I do like that thought, Mary. Thank You!

The great escape. Somehow this reminds me of giraffes on the run smile
Great shot and conversion.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Giraffes on the run. I really like that, Louis! grin Thanks for the smile.

I'd like to rent a crane. Fun to watch one crane build a tower crane.
Ginnie Hart: I think it would be a blast, Rob, to figure our how they work. Probably not as easy as they look...because of the swing!
Very well captured Ginnie as it seems that you were in a moveing car when capturing this unique image.
Ginnie Hart: Well, when it's out of the front windshield, Laurette, it's not that bad, you know. smile And yes, I was NOT the driver. HA!
No you can't take one home Ginnie.....bbbbbut Astrid please....just a little one?
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! She'll love it, Bill. grin
A flock of cranes getting ready for Spring. Nice capture Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Sitting 'round doing nothing in the meantime, John. grin Thnaks.
I've never thought of such a thing as a crane rental yard before.
Ginnie Hart: Me neither, Brian. It tickles me to no end. smile
Crane wars ? Nah ... they are just hanging about on street corners
Ginnie Hart: Checking out each other's balls, Richard (did I say that?!)? HA!
i like your treatment, interesiting Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Fabrizio.

You and i just love to play with cranes Ginnie....another great one....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: A love affair to be sure, Peter. I'm glad there's more than one of us. grin
What a sight . Lucky you had your camera handy Ginnie. Nice treatment
Ginnie Hart: Whenever I'm in the car with Astrid, I almost always have my camera perched and ready in my lap for such occasions, Janet. smile Thank you.
Good photo Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Roland. Merci.

I wonder what the collective word for a number of cranes is? An uprising of cranes sounds a good one to me! A fine photograph.
Ginnie Hart: Philine says it's 'craneshape.' A flock of crows is called a 'murder of crows,' so one wonders what we could come up with! Now you've got me thinking, Ingrid! smile Thanks.

Seriously? grin
I do like them too with their long necks shouting: "We can get higher and higher!!!" smile
(I just love the ambience of the whole picture
Ginnie Hart: Yes, seriously, and that still cracks me up. I guess it's not something we ever think about...where people get their cranes. grin Thanks, Lina.

Craneshape - a "collective word for a number of cranes"?
Ginnie Hart: That works, Philine. I told Ingrid that a flock of crows is called a murder of crows. smile HA! I wonder if we could come up with something as sinister...though, to be honest, cranes always remind me of erector sets (big toys!):

You layered processing really makes it into a cool work. Excellent.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
Great attractive, as usual. But say I Ginnie, I did not understand your comment, you are going to go in Norway? Where?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pierrot. Regarding Norway, we will be there for a week in April, taking the post-boat cruise along the entire coast for 6 days. It will be wonderful!
The Company has only eight cranes still in stock. I wonder what it would look like with their full inventory parked there.

Great catch, Ginnie, and expertly processed.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Beverly...only 8 left at the moment. I'd love to know how many they have. smile Thanks.

une excellente image avec un traitement qui lui donne encore plus d'impact !
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Didier. Merci.
That's a reason why people call them cranes!
They do look like the bird! Ha ha...

Oh...is it their mating season again in NL?

These Dutch cranes certainly outperform our English cranes! grin

Sometimes, I think I come from another planet!!
Ginnie Hart: LOL, LC. Whatever planet you come from is delightful. I'd love to join you there for awhile. grin Thanks.
I like that you captured these cranes seemingly looming over the highway. If there was ever an accident here, the cranes could simply pick-up the cars and put them safely to the side :^)
Ginnie Hart: HA! What a fantastic thought, Doug. I love it. Thanks.

WOW! It's as if they're dancing. Great find!
Ginnie Hart: The dance of the cranes. I love it, Marcie. smile Thanks.
A good novelty picture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It was fun, Graeme. smile Thanks.
Curieux cette danse exécutée par ces grues de chantier... Un beau travail. Une belle composition, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Olivier. This was fun to see. Merci.
