A Big Bear Hug to All

For all your thoughts and good wishes during our recent trip to Atlanta, THANK YOU.

We're in the Dutch saddle again and have sunk our teeth back into the daily grind routine.

This image was taken in the Indian Village at a north Atlanta County Fair

where we took my 10-year-old grandson two weeks ago.

Ha Ha

I think he might fall to bits if hugged, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: His bark is definitely definitely bigger than his bite, Ray. smile Thanks.

Yikes, what a shot! Hope you had a wonderful vacation.
Ginnie Hart: It was a great vacation, Kala, but way too short. You know how that goes! Thanks.

grin too bad we do not have a fireplace, this Big Bear would do great in front of it wink
No need to say we had a great time in Atlanta, the fair was quite an experience smilesmile.
The Indian Village added to my education, they really did a wonderful job.
I am glad it is a short working week for me, only two days, in the weekend I can upload the pictures and see our adventure again.
Wonderful picture with a great memory attached.
Ginnie Hart: That fair is the best one I've ever been to, MLMA. I'm so glad you finally got to experience it. We had such a great time with my kids. How could they not love you to death! Now that we're back home, I'm eager to see what's in store for you at work. These are exciting days.

This is a great shot Ginnie but was your Grandson just a bit afraid of this fierce bear....welcome back to you and Astrid.....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It amazes me what does NOT scare my g'son, Peter, and what does. He was totally fascinated by everything at the Indian Village but still has carnival rides he knows are still too scary for him. One smart little guy! Thanks.
Glad to hear you had a good trip. Great image to come back with. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: It was a great trip, Roz. To figure out what image to start off with again was a real challenge, but with the Halloween weekend, I decided to go with this one. Thanks.
welcome back Ginnie, it's a pleasure enjoy again with your photos, this one is just impressive, nice week end too you
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart to say that, Fabrizio. Grazie.
Welcome back. I think I prefer a cat lying by the fireplace
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. And HA! A cat, indeed. I'll see if Astrid has something to say about that. smile
Welcome back. I'm glad the Atlanta trip went off well. The bear looks as if he needs a bit of remedial work.

Talking our daily routine - how are you doing at college these days?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sheila. It's always good to go and then come back again.

School is going well. I went back again yesterday and started my second of two workbooks, which means I am finished with half the course...before the mid-way mark. I guess that means I'm moving right along. smile Thanks for asking.
An excellent photograph.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Shaun.

Welcome back you two, glad the hols went well.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Mick! It's good to be back.
I love these warm colours!
Ciao smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Segnidiluce. Grazie.

Road kill?
Ginnie Hart: Maybe?! smile
Glad you both had a good trip Ginnie, this was a fine bear I suspect, those teeth are quite frightening.

Welcome back Ginnie and Astrid, delighted that it all worked out back home.

Poor thing looks like he's been hugged by moths - lots of 'em - but still knds cuddly!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, George. We're glad to be back. I bet this 'rug' would feel good to lie on. smile
One of the unlucky ones, eh, Ginnie? Welcome back.
Ginnie Hart: I guess so, Tom, for sure! It's good to be back. Thanks.
lost the link to your blog! Delighted to find you and discover your journey with this beautiful picture of red and gold! almost an image of the fire! A brown bear! I went to the real polar bear! The Lord of Ice! if you find you have time in my recent pictures! Good weekend to you.
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Mathilde, thinking of this bear in front of the fireplace. Actually, it was outside in the sun when I took it. I loved seeing your polar bears. We need to keep all the bears we can get! Thank you.

Wow, even that bear's head looks scary at this angle (even with the snotty nose!). Quite an unusual display there - looks like all parts made from the bear, like a native American tools display or something.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely a Native American display, Mark. I am always drawn to these village replicas and this Fair has a great one. Thanks.
