photoblog image A Bicycle Built for Two

A Bicycle Built for Two

Today Astrid and I fly to Atlanta for a week-plus of visiting my kids and friends.

We are so excited...like riding a bicycle built for two.

Image taken in the Province of Zeeland, Netherlands, a couple weeks ago.

I won't be posting while we're gone but I will be keeping my turn at Vision & Verb on Monday, October 18th, if you're interested...

on Meeting the Parents...or When Your Children Have Two Mommies!

My kids will be meeting Astrid for the first time!

Love the photo Ginnie! The textures in the photo are great. It keeps your attention and makes me want to explore the photo. By the way, I have always wanted one of these, great bike. Have fun in Atlanta!
Ginnie Hart: I've at least always wanted to ride in one of these, Peter. smile We saw this by the side of the road in a dump heap. Not sure what was going on because we don't usually see such things here in The Netherlands. It definitely caught my eye and Astrid was kind enough (again) to stop on a dime for me to take the picture out the car window. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

She's a thing of great beauty...it is in the imagining of the years of service prior to retirement.

Looks like something straight out of WWII. Your processing really lends itself to the scene. Safe travels.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Sherri. We think the guy was a collector but had every piled around in heaps like a dump. He could have made a little museum out of it. Thanks.

We were discussing who is going to drive...grin you ended up in the thing attached to the motorcycle.
Motor met zij-span in Dutch wink
You did an amazing job with this picture, it was raining cats and dogs and rabbits and elephants while you took the picture.
Sherri is right, it was a small army dump.
To be honest, I am happy that we go by airplane, driving in this is fun on a nice hot summer day.
Ginnie Hart: I forgot it was raining cats and dogs...no wonder I didn't get out of the car. You are so good about stopping on a dime and catering to my photographic whims. grin What would I do without you???!!!

Just think, we made it after a long day and a few interesting quirks. Now we can breathe for awhile. smile
