I totally agree. That's why I end up with a whole lot of images when I attend some celebrations, because I take too much photos of everyone else enjoying the festivities.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Maria, isn't it! There are always waiting times at these things so what else can you do but watch what's going on around you! smile Thanks.

Wonderful composition, fabulous picture (yes, as usual as Ray said too) smile
That was the fun part of that day too, looking at boats and people, there were many of each.
Ginnie Hart: We had 5 hours that day to see everything in front of us. That was so much fun. I'm glad we could share it together. smile Bedankt, mijn vrouw.

A summer shot - and they appear to be wrapped up to keep warm Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Mid-August, yes, Chris, but very cool. I'm guessing it was in the low 60s, but with the sun shining. My kind of weather. smile
People watching is always fun!
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Bill. smile

Ginnie Hart: They were fun to watch, Oscar. smile Gracias.
To get a real feel of sailing they should be swabbing the decks and tidying up all those loose ropes

;-)

Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, everyone gets a chance to rest sometime, Richard, and that was the time, I guess smile

je aime ce jeu de tonalités assez inhabituelle en mer. les tonalités rouges en triangle viennent bien construire l'image
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Lasiate. Merci.
Watching people is always fun I think, I love it myself
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Chantal! smile

I like the colours of this vessel Ginnie and see that those people wear clothes to match.
Ginnie Hart: Nothing quite like being accessorized, Chad. grin Thanks.
Thank you for your kind cuckoo to me, good day. This photo is magnificent

Super shot and I agree, often when we go places I am always watching the people, especially at airports, train stations etc and imagine there story and where there going, doubt I often get it right but always find myself doing it
Ginnie Hart: We could make up a thousand stories and none of them would be exactly right, JJ, but that's the fun thing about the mind. smile Thanks.

Great tones Ginnie, they all colour co-ordinate, good detail too smile
Ginnie Hart: The name of the game is ACCESSORIZE, Linda, as we all know. grin Thanks.
Your own special processing style really works a treat on this one Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
Great title; covering both aspects at the same time.

Ginnie, you have the special talent of always managing to capture the atmosphere of the places you photograph. Love this one!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Beverly. You've made my day. Thank you.
I bet it was Ginnie..You've captured the interest well too.
Ginnie Hart: I love stuff like this, Ron. smile Thanks.

Have you processed this picture..I refer to the water...
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Sunder. smile Thank you. And yes, I PPed this but didn't manipulate it with textures or anything else.

Nice. You know, you can waste hours and hours just watching the sea moving. Aren't they lucky to have such a nice place to look at it from
Ginnie Hart: I know, Ellie. We all had our different vantage points that day. We felt lucky to be high up on the bank, looking down (so to speak) on everything happening. Thanks.
But who then watches the watchers Ginnie, us I suppose in an indirect way. A grand image.
Ginnie Hart: I also watched some of the photographers nearby us, Les, and I'm sure they were also watching me. grin So fun. Thanks.

What a perfect play on words for a title. Love this scene and the burnt orange splashes of color.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sherri. smile Finding the right title is almost as much fun as finding the right image. smile Some do it better than others and I am inspired by them.
That is the life. To be on a boat somewhere. Lovely shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Some people get to do it, Michael! Lucky for them. smile Thanks, Michael.

I enjoy photos like this, boats and marinas. The passengers appear to enjoy their trip, but I know as a photographer, capturing the image is just as enjoyable.
Ginnie Hart: You're right, Rob. The whole package is quite an experience. Thanks.
