needs more practice on the make up, ha ha, nice portrait
Ginnie Hart: She didn't want anyone to think she was a pick-pocket, Derek. smile Thanks.
One of these days (night) I'll be at the head of the commenting posse!

With the pirate hat and party atmosphere I think the makeup suits her,
Ginnie Hart: Awww, you're sweet, George. I think this lass uses her makeup to foil people into thinking she is NOT NOT NOT a pick-pocket. grin

Ginnie Hart: HA! I wonder if she needs pick-pocket training, too? :

I just love this picture, maybe my favorite in the series, don't know why.
I noticed the colorful scarf, maybe monday's sister??
....... and being in a large crowd, be aware of pickpockets....wink
Ginnie Hart: I know why it's your favorite, MLMA! HA! You like that she's a bit impish and up to no good!!! Still, she's color-coordinated, yes. Thanks for the pick-pocket warning, BTW. smile
A very fine portrait!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Wim.

that is a gem of a picture as Fritsch would say lol i've GOT to tumblr it smile
Ginnie Hart: Awwwwww. I forget how you tumblr it but I'm flattered. Thanks, Elaine.
Lovely candid portrait...she looks a character!
Ginnie Hart: A character indeed, Bill. I'd say so! Thanks.
What I miss in your photos is the way your colors always are, they lack the colorful Carnaval amboiance
Ginnie Hart: Maybe next year you'll have a chance to show us the colors, Chantal?

Oh, this child looks so lief en eerlijk - who appreciates love and rainbow -colours, might not be thinking of something bad! Or I'm to naive? In any case a nice pic and a lovely -half-sceptical facial expression !
Ginnie Hart: It was fun to imagine her as a pick-pocket, Philine, though surely she wasn't. I bet she was having a great time, even though I caught that expression on her face. Bedankt.

She's very serious: did Astrid think you'd want to buy her?
Ginnie Hart: HA! I doubt it very seriously, Chris. grin She was afraid I'd have my purse "picked!"
Now to me that is a real Dutch look.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'll make sure Astrid doesn't hear that, Chad. smile

Well.. how spooky! Using my office laptop, I can't see the title without scrolling and as soon as I saw the image I thought about the kids I had seen in the muscial Oliver! in London a few weeks ago. Can I have more, please?
Ginnie Hart: More? I can just hear him saying it, Alan. Love that play/movie. The timing was perfect, then. smile
this one is great Ginnie very enchanting photo so lovely!!!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Fabrizio. Grazie.
She looks as though someone has just eaten the last chocolate muffin and not let her have it.... ha ha

Neat shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Paul. Looks like she's got something up her sleeve! smile Thanks.
She looks so young and innocent. My heart breaks that she is being taught to steal at such an early age. You captured her expression perfectly Ginnie, I can see the pain this child must be living in. A very moving image.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, John, I'm guessing she is NOT a pick-pocket girl in real life. It was just the look on her face...especially after Astrid told me to NOT take my purse. smile

I see what you mean. She looks unhappy at this particular moment. I hope it was a fleeting moment.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Sherri. smile Thanks.
She really does look like a child in costume for a production of Charles Dickens Oliver. Perhaps she wants some more of whatever takes her fancy.
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Brian! Thanks.

A sweet little thing like that as a pick pocket? It is not a typical dutch trade anyway smile

Op ze nederlands - een toffe meid.
Ginnie Hart: In Amsterdam, perhaps, but in our small town? I know, I was surprised myself. En, ja, een toffe meid, inderdaad! smile
oooh another impish one from the characters at the carnival! That's a true candid if I ever saw one!
Ginnie Hart: She was also a bit older than the others, Yinks, and definitely an imp! smile Thanks.

Oh...I think this is my favorite of them all - thus far. She really does remind me of Oliver Twist..but that heart on her cheek is priceless!!!
Ginnie Hart: I love hearing what are the favorites of different commenters, Marcie. It's been so fun. Tomorrow is MY favorite...and you already know which one it is. smile
It appears that you've fallen into a hole in the Earth and have landed in the Munchkin's Carnival, Alice. Do you require any assistance getting out, or will you be staying for a while? smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love it, Alan. Tomorrow, Friday, I will come out of my hole with the last of this series! smile
She has a sweet face. I guess that would help a pick pocket.
Ginnie Hart: Oh yes, Michael. You can always fool some of the people some of the time. grin
