beautiful, Ginnie. The tones in this are just lovely, and she has a great expression. also I think this is a very crisp image for 300mm. you must have steady hands smile
Ginnie Hart: To give credit it where credit it due, Charles, I'm sure it is the Image Stabilizer, which I would never do without on any lens. At almost 65, my hands are NOT that steady, especially with such a big, heavy lens (3.7 lbs, not counting the body). Thanks for your very kind words.
very lovely picture of a well warm girl
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Derek. I'd love to know what she was thinking!

Such a lovely portrait. The colors surrounding her are perfect for her coloring. I could imagine her parents wanting a copy of this one.
Ginnie Hart: That's very sweet of you, Sherri. I never thought of her parents but I'm guessing they were somewhere around? I was especially taken by all the darling, colorful scarves all the kids were wearing. smile

I read the comments, wink (you have very steady hands)
This is again a fabulous picture, so sharp, beautiful tones.
The confetti in her hair does add to the picture, great series.
Tot vanavond.....DK JLJA
Ginnie Hart: You know my hands better than anyone, MLMA, and you know they are NOT that steady. Thank God for an image stabilizer, right?! smile And thank God for such a fan club as you! Ontzettend bedankt.

Got to agree, nice shot for a 300mm hand held.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. It's another commercial, then, for the IS feature (image stabilizer) that I can't live without. smile

Very pensive Ginnie - but I bet she's excited really!
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Chris. I think I just happened to catch her in one of those in-between moments. smile
Lovely capture Ginnie, 65 thought you looked about 45.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Looks can be so deceiving, right, Mick. grin Thanks. Flattery will get you just about everywhere. smile
She seems to be thinking hard about something Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: In that moment, yes, Chad. Made me wonder what she was thinking.

This is probably my favourite so far. The colours are wonderful again - do they have to be colour co-ordinated to attend?!
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: Awwww, thanks, Ingrid. And to think I almost didn't include her. I really was pleasantly surprised by all the color coordination everywhere. I'll have to ask Astrid about it.
she looks sad
Ginnie Hart: ...or maybe in deep thought about something, Chantal? But what? Makes me wonder.

This close-up is lovely too Ginnie..I wonder what she's thinking.
Ginnie Hart: lost in thought, for sure, Ron, I know.... Thanks.
Lovely close up Ginnie, the little girl will feel special with confetti in her hair.smile
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if she was looking at all of it lying on the ground at her feet?? Thanks, Linda.

I am getting worried when a newly wed starts showing all the children pictures. Voorzichtig!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Astrid is really gonna get a kick outta this later, Louis. Not to worry...unless one of our kids surprises us. I hope not! grin

So sweet and pensive. Love the expression you captured here. I hope you're finding these childrens' parents and offering them your wonderful photos???
Ginnie Hart: I have no clue, Marcie, who the parents are of any of these children. Maybe one day I will spy one of these children around town and will have an opportunity to say something? smile I love the thought and you're very kind! Thank you.
A lovely shot, Ginie with your trademark processing, so beautiful and delicate.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir! That means a lot, always.

Ah!! Shame! I'm sure she had a fun day out really!
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing she was internalizing all of it, Alan. smile
I am loving this series, Ginnie.
The parade has certainly provided you with a wealth of opportunities to capture some absolutely delightful images. This one in particular is a real charmer.

Image stabilizer, or not, well done!
Ginnie Hart: So glad you're loving the series, Beverly. Two more to go. It's been fun for me. Thanks!

That is a beautiful shot of a sweet looking girl. I love her expression. Almost sad.
Ginnie Hart: It's really hard to know what was going through her mind, Michael. I wish I knew! Thanks.
this childhood series has been really beautiful, Ginnie, like you were in your element...
Ginnie Hart: They were there to help me find my own Child deep within, Larry...I'm convinced of it!
I also think this is one of the best of the series so far Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: That's very sweet of you, Brian. Thanks for saying so.

I like the colours too
Ginnie Hart: Well, the party wasn't finished, Oscar, except maybe for her it was? Thanks. smile
Absolutely charming! - you realise, we can't take shots like this in the UK any longer - we'd be arrested and listed as paedolphiles!
Ginnie Hart: UGH! Astrid doesn't think they have that regulation here yet but I may need to be careful going forward...after this series (2 more). Thanks for the heads-up, Tom.

Thanks Ginnie - again!

A nice quiet moment for the wee lassie. Nicely shot again Ginnie, I really do like the subtle toning that you use - it's very sympathetic to the subject.
