Totally gorgeous, Ginnie!

It seem to even have a few immature Blue Gum [Australian Eucalypt] leaves in it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ray. Astrid knows I love Eucalyptus leaves in floral arrangements! smile
very nice capture, flowers and processing ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Derek.

Yes, I know... - a wonderful bunch of flowers - processed with a lovely- oldfashioned toning!- het kussen (3x) is in Nederland usual like in France and other countries, but a "dikke kus" is usual only between loving persons! (I'm on way to the wintery Amsterdam, hope not to get snowed in!)
Ginnie Hart: As we all know, Philine, there are kisses and there are kisses. smile Thank you. And yes, we woke up to snow this morning, too. Alsjeblieft, doe voorzichtig.

tonguetongue..... een dikke kus voor jou ook.
MDLL, you surprise me all the time, but than you keep telling me that I keep surprising you too wink
'Dikke kus' were one of the first Dutch words I taught you and when I found the card with those words in the flower-shop, it had to go with the bouquet of flowers.
@ Philine....I do hope you do voorzichtig....snow is on its way, please enjoy your day.
@ Ginnie, een dikke kus en een prettige dag....
Ginnie Hart: Dikke kus even SOUNDS like a big kiss, MLMA, which is oneof the reasons why I love the Dutch words. grin Ontzettend bedankt. I love how the arrangement is still going strong here in our apartment.

De verwerking is knap gedaan. meid. Nu moet je nederlands gaan leren. Naar een jaar of twee moet je gewoon flot nederlands spreken en de Wilhelmus zingen.

Dikke kus, en ze glundert.
Ginnie Hart: Oh yes, Louis. I will learn Dutch if it kills me! grin Beetje bij beetje. Sigh. I love reading it, even if I can't translate all the words. Context helps a lot. And that's definitely how I will keep learning. Zo, bedankt!

this should be available to the world to send to their loved ones

have you ever thought of taking your images to a card manufacturer so more people can enjoy them
Ginnie Hart: You know how to make my day, JIM. Thank you. Sigh. Well, yes, I have thought of using my images for greeting cards but I don't toot my own horn very well. Maybe one day I will find the right place. Astrid says Holland is in need of nice greeting cards. I would love to help out. smile

Ginnie Hart: It was a great surprise for me when she gave it to me, Fabrizio. Thanks.
And now it is forever...
Ginnie Hart: Precies, Chantal!

An impeccable composition and processes. I would have liked a bit more color
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Oscar, this is the color...all in whites and different muted greens...a bridal bouquet. It's very subtle and muted. I love that there are no vivid colors added. We had another bouquet of red tulips and purple thistles from my daughter that added a nice balance.
A happy memory.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Bill!
A lovely pastel and painterly quality to your bouquet Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: And it's still going strong, George. Thanks.

We are using in German also the expression: "ein dicker Kuss" or "Einen dicken Schmatz für dich!"-it means:" a huge kiss for you"! - In Amsterdam there was only a bit snow-rain, but in Hilversum, Appeldoorn...we saw thick layers of snow on streets and roofs from the train- oh what a winter this year! It is wonderful to have a cosy, warm home like you both have too!
Ginnie Hart: We had lots of snow yesterday, Philine, and more snow last night. Astrid said there was such a slow-up of car traffic all over the country. I'm glad you didn't have problems with the train. Tomorrow we take the bus to Utrecht for my immigration. Please pray for a safe trip. Thanks.
Eucalyptus also smells nice
Ginnie Hart: It sure does, Chantal. It's one of my favorite scents. smile

to be really honest: I like the processing for the background, but I think it hurts the roses
Ginnie Hart: Thanks for being honest, Petra. One day I'll learn how to do a texture and deselect what I don't want affected!

i think the processing on the roses is not a bad idea. just adds to the sentiment
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, DrAW. It worked for me but I can understand why someone else might not like it.
