A Little Child Shall Lead Them

This is a series from the NASCAR race here in Atlanta over our Labor Day weekend.

This fella was several seats away from me but latched onto me and my camera.
How could I ignore him, his earphones...or his freckles!

those freckles really make this portrait shot pop.. grin nice shot! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Rian. I didn't even see them till later on the monitor. smile
He reminds me of Nicholas. There's a certain earnestness in young boys that is just so appealing!
Ginnie Hart: Those little boys can wrap themselves all around us, Linda. Too bad many of them grow up! grin
A fine portrait Ginnie. I like his freckles. Was he intersted in the races, or just in his music?
Ginnie Hart: Most people tune in to the radio commentary of the race while watching it, Wim, but I have no clue about this little fella. Maybe he WAS listening to his favorite music. If so, how much more cute! Thanks.
Wonderful shot Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Ron!

Ginnie Hart: Anything to block out all that noise, Rem! YES. Merci.

i love the freckles too
beautiful shot and beautiful processing , miss Ginnie wink
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Jean-Luc. He is a winner for sure!
Adorable! What a great capture. And you know P has a few of these earphones, I just have to laugh... smile
Ginnie Hart: My understanding is that most people listen to the radio commentary of the race while blocking out the loud noise, so these earphones have a dual purpose. Smart! Thanks, Jen.

Ginnie Hart: I know, Klaus. Some parents start their kids off young. Good for them. Danke.
His eyes are asking you a lot of questions Ginnie. May be he likes your camera smile
Ginnie Hart: He definitely was fascinated by my camera, Thomas...with its humongous lens (28-300). Most kids don't get to see lenses that big, I'm sure. smile

Don't ignore him, invite him over and show him how it works. One day he will provide you with a coffee table book on NASCAR racing.
Ginnie Hart: Awwwww. What a sweet thought, Louis. It makes my day.
Those are some very intense eyes, nice capture!
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Brian. Even from far away, they really caught my attention. You can imagine how I felt when I saw them on the monitor! Thanks.
