Really love this photo. Great shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, HC. It was beautiful in its simplicity.
Tone, flowers and setting all in perfect harmony ;o)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mike. It did seem harmonious to me. I like that word.
Lovely flowers Ginnie smileLove the sepia.. Wait, is it really sepia smile?
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Pravin, it is...kinda. One of the layers is indeed a sepia through the Multiply layer that allows a bit of color through. Thank you.

What I like most is the presentation, like everything is gilded.
Ginnie Hart: These churches do have that effect, Louis. smile Thanks.
Nice detail picked out Ginnie

So simple but beautiful with the shadows and lovely composition.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Mary. I'm thinking I should do "simple" more often. It's very calming to me. smile
I remember visiting this church Ginnie on our last morning in Brussels. Came across it quite by accident.
Ginnie Hart: When you come to the top of the Metro stairs, there it is. The outside is in bad need of restoration but the inside sure is beautiful, isn't it! Thanks, Bernie.

I'd create a travel photobook with your images, Ginnie smile highlighting the best of European churches. I thought one could only take so many pictures of a church, but you've proved me wrong. Lovely image, the tone works well with the flowers.
Ginnie Hart: They're all so "the same," Mia, yes, and yet all so different. Good to see you back. Have a great summer break!
A nice simple picture Ginnie. I am going to explore your Flickr site and these and other shots when time allows.
Ginnie Hart: Interestingly, Brian, I could not find pictures of this church! It isn't MY Flickr site but someone else's I found while Googling. But thanks anyway!
great processing...beautiful flowers. Totally harmonious as another reader mentioned.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Heather. Harmony is a good word for me right now in my life. smile

I was raised worshipping in a church called St. Catherine of Alexandria. I wonder if this is the same St. Catherine
Ginnie Hart: It makes me want to find out more about her, Maria, but I was really shocked at how little I could find when I Googled this church!

Lovely shot; I like the tiled floor, with its asymmetric patterning - a nice little detail to go with the flower shadows. Cool ;-)
Ginnie Hart: It did catch my eye, Ian, for sure. smile Thanks.
