Take Me for a Ride in Your Car-Car

My thoughts have turned to Australia these days since it was a year ago when we were there.
My nephew took us to the Blue Mountains
outside of Sydney on a misty, rainy day.
I loved every minute of it!

Have a great weekend!

I was on a lift at Arthur's Seat in Victoria Co., AU. I heard it broke a couple of years later. Great vibrant colour in your shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I'm a glutton for these cars, Mary, and could start collecting them. grin I don't think I'd even mind being in one that broke down...as long as the scenery was good.

pretty colorful cable car, the view over there must be awesome.. i like how you captured this one with the fog there.. nice work! grin
Ginnie Hart: The view WAS awesome, Rian, even though we weren't able to see the famous Three Sisters (in my text link) because of the mist.

Incredible shot. It's already been a year since you last went, so when are you going back?

Oh btw, I simply love the color yellow in here.
Ginnie Hart: I have no clue if/when I'll ever go back, Maria. When we went, we realized it might be a once in a lifetime trip! It really is FAR AWAY. smile

I have no doubt that your weekend will be good too.
Ginnie Hart: Ja, dat weet jij, lieve vriend! You know what rocks my boat. grin TGIF!

Such a clear and colorful shot of the car surrounded by mist.

Ginnie this has the wow factor for me.Its truly wonderful photo
Ginnie Hart: You made my day, Vintage. Thank you.
It is a great contrast- the sharpness of that lemon yellow and the lovely warmth of the low key background. I loved the mountains when I visited about 4 years ago.
Ginnie Hart: Ahhhh. So you know! It was too misty for us tpo see the famous Three Sisters, Jamoula, which was my only disappointment of the day.
The car certainly pops outsmile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, it does, Nigel...and it did! I couldn't take my eyes off of it the entire "flight" across the chasm.
Blue mountains indeed. You captured the movement of ths 'car' nicely.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Superb shot Ginnie. Have a great weekend too!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Richard!

On the far right hand side of you shot Ginnie is a grade 21 climb that l would have done if it had not been raining the day we scheduled for it. thanks for the reminder, role on September and my climbing trip
Ginnie Hart: Oh my. I can just see you doing that, Tony. Now THAT would have been a pretty picture. I actually took pictures of those cliffs!
Have a good one yourself. Bet the view from the cable car was incredible
Ginnie Hart: It was, Bill, and now you've reminded me that I DID take some shots. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll have to show one....

And do take me with you! - for I like to step in such a Car-Car instead of climbing up by feet- this is a special one with open windows as I see - shall we enjoy the outlook from the Blue Mountains (what a lovely name!) by one of your pics? Een prachtig weekeind toegewenst van Philine
Ginnie Hart: There was plenty of room for you in the car-car that day, Philine. I'd love to take you with me! As I told Bill, I DID take some pictures from the car and now you've given me an idea for another post. smile

Great colors, nice capture.
