A Story to Tell

From an outside wall in Zurich, Switzerland, last November.

5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."  (Matthew 28, NIV)

HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND
(whether you observe it or not)

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to dear Philine!

Fascinating photo Ginnie, it must have been hard working sculpting that. Happy Easter weekend to you to!
Ginnie Hart: It does make me wonder what it was for, Brian...especially since it was on the side of the street where all the buildings/businesses were connected.

Two gossiping, one eavesdropping...what kind of message can come from that situation...

It's a beautiful image of the sculpture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Exactly, Ray. I guess that happened even then!! The Three Musketeers?
And likewise to you and yours, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!

Yes, Happy Easter to you, dear Ginnie! I find it beautiful that your pic refers to this important Christian feast and the "story" which has been told since that time- and you can feel the inner movement which the three women are filled with as the angel spoke to them- a wonderful found your eyes have seen and your camera has captured in Zürich!
Thanks for your dear wishes on Good Friday!
Ginnie Hart: You are so welcome, dear Philine. I hope you have a great day! This gevelsteen reminded me of the Three Musketeers. grin

Very carefully chosen picture Ginnie, that works perfectly for today. There's a coincidence too, that you won't notice unless you're able to see my post for Sunday.

Beautiful stonework Ginnie, that you have captured so well. Maybe it was from a building that used to stand on the site. A nunnery comes to mind. Wishing all the best for Easter.

And a great story it is, too. A joyous Easter to you, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: The Greatest Story Ever Told! But try telling it to an 8-year old boy, as I did over the weekend. Man! That's one incredible story when you listen to it as though you didn't grow up with it!
