...drink cold liquids? Sounds like a plan!
Ginnie Hart: Where you are and here in Atlanta, that's about all we'd want right now, yes, Martin!

Love the simplicity of the image. Good thing someone is actually leaving directions..or else who'd ever know what to do?
Ginnie Hart: Since "they" can sue and win over the most stupid things these days, Marcie, I'm guessing manufacturers roll their eyes when they have to include such tags! Sigh.

Good shot, but what is that? Is ita part of a portable armchair?
Ginnie Hart: It's one of those fold-up canvas armchairs you see everywhere here in the States, Hamilton...a dime a dozen and very comfortable.

Those seats are clearly intended for use by folks who are at the long g&t or beer stage of the day...I put one to good use on the verandah in the evenings when we are up-country.

Mine doesn't have instructions, but I wouldn't ever use it for hot coffee, in case it upset the world's natural rhythm.
Ginnie Hart: I don't think any other country needs the instructions because no one else dares sue like we do here in the States for the most stupid things...and expect to win! You clearly are much more sensible!

It's an Australian BEER only chair. LOL
Well what other cold liquid would you want to drink.
Well spotted and captured Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Aussie. I think you must be right but I had never thought of that. smile Thanks for the heads up!
I must say, only necessary in the US... Definite simplicity.. Noticing the not so noticed.
Ginnie Hart: But when you DO notice such things, they stick out like a sore thumb, right?! smile Thanks, Jen.

The liquids I will be drinking will not be hot Ginnie. As I just told Astrid,my foot is out of the door for the airporttonguetongue
Ginnie Hart: Fly with the birds and then swim with the fishies, Musketeer. Have a fabulous trip and come back safely. You'll have an e-mail by the time you get back, I promise.

Ginnie Hart: To tell you the truth, Martie, I have no clue! I think it's so they won't get sued!!!

I can live with that, just cold drinks.....so no hot coffee, koffie, coughie, with the Three Musketeers or the Three Stooges than.
This is what I mean, you being able to make something out of nothing, that is a quality only few have, this is a lovely picture.
Prachtig gezien, geweldig, brede glimlach, doe maar een rode wijn voor mij wink
However this is an English speaking chair and I am glad I do speak a few words, it should have been at least in 15 different languages......gringrin
Ginnie Hart: Rode wijn for both of us, Musketeer! That's better than Koffie any day. smile And yes, if they're really serious about it, they need to use a dozen languages to get their point across! If not, they might get sued by a Dutch lady and we know what THAT would look like!!! grin Ontzettend bedankt!
bon, ├ža va, si c'est pas chaud, alors on peut en prendre
Ginnie Hart: I guess there's a reason behind every instruction, O-P, right?! smile
Directions? I'm confused? What are directions. Now, what do I do with all these extra parts they gave me, obviously by mistake? smile

Hey, I tried a new link to my blog, goes through the website. Hows that work for you?
Ginnie Hart: HA! You sound like a man????! grin Well, you actually sound like ME! HA! Usually I dig right in when assembling something and THEN realize I really do need to follow the instructions. smile And yes, the link is perfect.

???????????????????????????????
Solution will follow- a nice pic!
Ginnie Hart: Solution will follow....hmmm. I guess you're right, Philine, knowing you. smile
If all else fails - drink cold things
Ginnie Hart: Precies, Chris. smile Welcome back!!!
Is that a note left by the nurse, or would the chair melt, or is it health and safety, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Chad, your guess is as good as mine. It's so you can't sue them, I'm quite sure!!!
I thought those little cavities were for mobile phones ... how wrong can you be ;-)
Fascinating shot btw. richard
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing we could come up with myriad ideas for what those "cavities" are for, Richard. Mobile phone is as good as any! smile Thanks.

Wonder what happens if you put, say, a cup of hot chocolate in there?
Ginnie Hart: You have to stay put until it's finished, PJ, so you don't end up with it on your newly washed shirt! grin
A nice cold beer on the other hand...............
Ginnie Hart: Now you're talking, Bill! grin

I'm always "impressed" by the kind of instructions one can read on the products...some are quite hilarious and a great bedside table reading grin
(I really do like your way with details...)
Ginnie Hart: I think you and I both get excited over the littlest details, Lina!!! smile

I think they should also post a warning about being careful if you put cold liquids in there because I have spilled them so many times in those stupid holders. smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Then they need to say NO LIQUIDS period. Only cell phones??? smile I know. What were they thinking when they put in those pockets!!

Should there really be any liquids in that hot or cold? Not with me around anyway.
