This is a series of impressions from our annual Farm Day in Michigan on August 9th.

Sorry, Ingrid, but sometimes I see you everywhere I look!

Good Ol' Crocs.. nice idea.
Ginnie Hart: You either love them or hate them, Hamilton. smile
The most comfortable shoes on earth.
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing that means you have wide enough feet for them, Mary???

lol....truth is I hate this particular footwear with every fiber of my being...love her toes :p
Ginnie Hart: Ahhhh. Good news to my ears, Ada. grin I am not a faddist and have never had an interest in buying Crocs for myself. But even if I had, I don't think they make them narrow enough for my feet!

I wear a dark blue pair of these shoes for about an hour every day...great footwear, except on wet ceramic tiles!

I like your humorous take on them, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I guess those who love them really love them, Ray! But be careful where you know they aren't good. You're not getting any younger, you know! grin

.....erm......erm......I don't know where to start....erm.....well let me say this first, Ada is a woman to my heart and I don't want to offend others and we are entitled to give one's opinion, I think the designer is rolling on the floor with much laughter.....all those 'idiots' who bought his 'design'.
When I see people wearing them I always look around in the street if there is a sign saying...Circus Billy Smart is back in town and these people are the clown's act for that evening.
But who am I, I wear boots from Timberland...and they have their thoughts too and if one is happy to walk around as a clown, well I am happy too.
Love the colour green.....and you know what, some people wear the red ones, if they walk into a field of tomatoes, nobody will see them tonguetonguetongue
I love your picture though and her toes do have the best view.........front seat wink
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circus
Ginnie Hart: We always know that you, lieve Astrid, will speak your mind, so please, go ahead and tell us exactly how you feel about Crocs!!! HA! grin Well, at least now we know and some of us totally agree. But, I have heard that those who like them really do think they are the most comfortable shoes in the world. Hmm. The day I see them on you I will know you have lost your marbles. AND if your toenails are also painted, I'll send you to the circus!

Purple and green! Nice take on everyday footwear. (Crocs?)
Ginnie Hart: Crocs indeed, Martie. They're laughing all the way to the bank, right?! smile

Great, cute pic Ginnie! Love the green, love the toes and don't really have an opinion on the Crocs - but added to Astrid's thoughts - I bet the designer is not only rolling on the floor with laughter BUT laughing ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!! These things are EVERYWHERE. They must have made a fortune. Now why didn't I think of that???
Ginnie Hart: I know, Judy! Whoever would have thought they'd make it this big ALL OVER THE WORLD! Seriously. When you/I come up with an idea like this, let's make sure we do something about it!! smile

@ Judy....life can be so simple if we only have 'brilliant' thoughts/idearrrs at the right time.......I would not mind designing this, as long as I don't have to wear my own designs....tonguetonguetongue
Ginnie Hart: HA! Pay attention to all the crazy idearrrs, lieve vriend, and come up with you own...and let us all capitalize on it with you! And I'll be sure to tell everyone that I KNOW YOU! tongue
Your niece's foot looks safe and snug in their, Ginnie. Nice photo.
Ginnie Hart: Safe and snug as a bug in a rug! Thanks, Chad.

A really funny pic- my first impression was: What for a froggreen, and I saw the two little red nails appearing (hervorluken) and I thought of anniedog like you! The foot may be well off in the big comfortable shoe indeed and always with fine air- condition! I'm still laughing, a beautiful Good morning- Gute-Laune -very good mood-photo!
Lol at Astrid's comment! I swear by comfortable shoes, shoes like that at home and Mephisto-shoes on street. I I were young I would choose colours in pink and froggreen and sickly yellow, but now as an older lady I prefer the darker colours or white!
Ginnie Hart: You and I are the same as Astrid, Philine...have to have those comfortable shoes (though I guess the Croc lovers swear by theirs). But now I must tell you...surely you know that poem that when you are old you shall wear PURPLE! I can just see it. Philine and Ginnie wearing purple Crocs. HA! grin
Seems pointless to make shoes out of a totally waterproof material and then put holes everywhere.tongue Like the peeping toes thoughgrin
Ginnie Hart: You do have a point, Bill! grin
Wow! ... tiny toes in big crocs. Nicely snapped.

Ginnie Hart: Both of my feet together would be swimming in one of these Crocs, Richard! smile

Yep, Bill used the right word I looked for: "peeping toes"! Your niece could have ten or more toes per foot, so large is the shoe!
Ginnie Hart: I'm laughing, Philine, because I just wrote to Richard that both of my feet together would be swimming in one of these Crocs! smile

Green crocs. Lovely - even some reddish highlights.

Over here the nursing fraternity has banned crocs as uniform for health workers. Even if it is positively the best thing somebody who is on her feet all day can wear. The reason - an injection may fall with the needle striking you in the foot through one of the holes. That may lead to a slow puncture (local vernacular for being tested positive).
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Louis. It's so funny you should write this because just a couple hours ago I had my annual dermatology appointment and even my doctor was wearing Crocs (besides at least two others in the office that I saw)! Makes sense to me. I'm guessing those who wear them really are sold on them, so I should reserve judgment.

Ah yes, crocs. I love them on the farm, on her, and that's about it! grin

I love it. The toes look like they are peeking out and I keep checking the other holes to see if anything will appear there. Good one.

I don't know if they are confortable or not but those toes seem very happy with the excellent view of the window grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! I can see you zooming in even closer than I did, Lina, and making another image altogether! grin
I'm not a big fan of them Ginnie but I'm afraid even Abbie at the tender age of almost 3 knows exactly what they are and pestered us for a pair and we gave in!
Ginnie Hart: HA! The ones for small children are the ones I actually think are adorable, Bernie. They steal my heart. So cute.

Good idea.Beautiful color. smile
Ginnie Hart: This time, Zohre, I didn't change anything with the color. I had to leave it as is! smile Thanks.
The colour of good sandals. His colour like the colour of my car... hehehe. Regards from Yogyakarta Indonesia.
Ginnie Hart: The color of your car?! Oh, Bram, I will never forget that about you. smile
I am reminded of a story book about some little mice peeking out of their tiny hole in the wall to see if it is safe to came out! Very cute shot!
Ginnie Hart: Awwww. I really like your stories, Patrushka!!! smile
Lol smile Funny one !
Ginnie Hart: It's fun to laugh, isn't it, Zeb! grin

Lol Ginnie - thanks for the dedication, but you should know that I'm 100% with Astrid on this one! You would never in a million years catch my little painted toes peeking out of these ugliest of shoes, however comfortable they might be! Love the photo though. smile
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHA! I guess I had to find out for sure, Ingrid. Even if I wanted a pair of these (I don't), I don't think they make them narrow enough for my feet, truth be known. They always look like such huge clodhoppers to me!
