Love..love..love the quality of light..the shadows..the bokeh. You've captured the nicest part of a summer's day.
Ginnie Hart: It IS the nicest part of a summer's day for sure, Marcie, especially after a short, gentle rain. Thank you.

Such a sense of family in this photo. My family is so scattered...
Ginnie Hart: I'm the scattered one in my family, Sherri, so I know what you mean. We're the ones that travel the farthest when we get together. The others live in and around Michigan, so it's easier to meet.

....but.....but....Ginnie....you know that after the rain SUNSHINE will appear at least in Holland...whichever Holland that is.....wink I assume...
The way I read it and that is always with a Dutch accent (yep even my reading has an accent you have no idearr grin) it is like a fairy tale.......'Then out came the sun...and a double-rainbow and than the sun said Goog-Night and they lived happy ever after.....Geweldig, I love happy endings, even in fairy tales...tonguetongue
Ginnie Hart: Living happily ever after is probably at the core of our deepest longings, lieve vriend, don't you think?! That's what this moment felt like! And you know me, I love all your accents! grin

This is simply superb Ginnie. Natural lighting captured to perfection, anticipation in the air. Those shadows, marvellous.

Oh, by the way, thank you for divulging the secret of your processing techniques with me. I really found it interesting. And rest assured, I will not tell a soul that you sprinkle Pixie dust on your photographs, bake them in an oven for ten minutes and allow to dry naturally on a clkothes line.....

It's our little secret..... ha ha smile

Have a great weekend
Ginnie Hart: You are such a sweetie-pie, Paul! grin Thank you for all your kind words!
Lovely magical, almost Narnia like quality to this Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Oh, I like that, Bill. I KNEW there was something about that place. The thought of Narnia makes it that much more special.
It's amazing how shooting in to the sun can destill things and create such a wonderful feeling ... and of course the desat' didn't do any harm at all.
richard
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean about the sun, Richard. It's kinda like staring the tiger in the eye and coming out a winner! smile

Ginnie Hart: This works well as a "memory lane," Alex, because I take it every year on Farm Day. Thanks for that thought.
