Today Donica and I fly to Michigan for the annual Farm Day at sister Ruth's farm.
This will be the first time we take my grandson Nicholas (age 8).  He will have a blast!

These two rams at Zaanse Schans
, Holland, were lying calmly on the ground facing each other like this,
and made me think of some of the conversations we will have
(and yes, we may even roll our eyes).

Have a great weeked.  See you on Monday.

Have a fab time at the farm and I know Nicholas will love it for sure. Safe flight to one and all. Give Ruth my regards.
Ginnie Hart: HA! In this case, I think they just decided to cool their jets for awhile. grin Thanks for the trip wishes.

WOW! This is amazing...as if they're communicating with their body language and silence. Love the slightly open eye. Fantastic image!
Ginnie Hart: And they stayed that way for a long time, Marcie, as though they were communioning on a very deep level!
I really like this Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sesan. smile

I guess there are no gals in the vicinity, or these guys might be engaged in a bit of head-butting.

Rodney Ram..."Hey Ralf...I am getting a lot of headaches these days; why don't we try a different approach?"

Ralfy Ram..."Ok, Rod...I am all out of Tylenol...what have you got in mind?"

Rodney Ram..."Oh, I dunno...how about we just take turns servicing the ladies...there is plenty in the paddock for both of us?"

Ralfy Ram..."Nar, Rod...it will never work...the ladies expect us to put on a bit of a show...we gotta amuse 'em a little."

Rodney Ram..."Right! ...umh...well, perhaps we could do a bit of standup comedy, and then take turns......"
Ginnie Hart: If anyone could tell a story, it would be you, Ray! smile Thanks.

Love your description. Perhaps they're brothers and have been raised together. Sometimes animals like that grow up with a very near kinship and a pure love. Living on a farm years ago I witnessed it. I like this image.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Sherri, you're right. It was like they escaped into their own world while a few tourists wandered about (back in March on a chilly day).
c'est une belle histoire d'amour ce tête à tête!...et une magnifique photo
Ginnie Hart: Don't you love how some images immediately bring a title to mind! Thanks, O-P.

Awwww, scrumptious photo Ginnie. I went to the mountains...and forgot my camera. I was so distressed the whole time lol.
Ginnie Hart: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I can't imagine how naked you must have felt...AND distressed, like a bad dream!!!
This is a great & rather inscrutable picture Ginnie. I hope you have a good time on the farm
Ginnie Hart: Inscrutable, for sure, Chris. I like that word for the day! smile

...erm....I don't have to mention...don't forget your camera...grintonguetongue
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'd feel zo naakte zonder mijn Canon, mijn lieve vriend! It's almost packed and ready to go. I'm close to shutting down the laptop in another hour or so. Then we're on our way. Nicholas will LOVE the farm!

Have a great time on farm day!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Kathryn. It's always one of the highlights of our year.
Ginnie, you seem to lead such a busy life, flying here and flying there, seweing all sorts of people. It makes me feel quite exhausted.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHA! I know, Chad. It tires me just thinking about it but the DOING is quite wonderful. We arrive home on Sunday and then leave the next day for Amsterdam. grin No moss grows under our feet!

My parents had a couple of rams many moons ago, rather than locking horns, head butting each other and chasing the dogs around, were hell bent on head butting all humans within eyesight. But we sure had the last laugh, yummy yummy smile smile

Nice capture Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: I can just picture it, Fotografa! grin You can't help but laugh when they're like that. Thanks for the smile.

Hope there are no windmill's on the farm. smile
Lucky you, traveling away from this unbearable heat that just melts my Siberian mind.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, I do know about the heat, Viktor. When I walked out of the Atlanta airport last week, it was like hitting a brick wall! It will be very nice to escape for a few days...and then we leave on Monday for AMS. No windmills on the farm. smile
Look like they're ready to lock horns Ginnie!

Have a great weekend.
Ginnie Hart: On the contrary, Bernie, they totally shocked me by how calm and relaxed they were. Maybe they had just finished a nice romp and had settled down for a reprieve? Thanks.
ray is indeed hillarious

so what kind of conversations are you referring to ginnie?

birds and the bees, or rocky grin
Ginnie Hart: Hopefully just "birds and bees" this time, DrAW. My niece DOES have her new beau to introduce to us all, so that will be fun...with some side conversations, I'm sure. grin Thanks.

In this way we should associate with each other: facing each other, listen to each other, being on the same level with respect for each other , standing close to each other, but with a little distance too...I like this classical pic!
Ginnie Hart: Truer words were never spoken, dear Philine!

Ginnie Hart: BUT these two didn't give a hoot what anyone thought. We all could learn a lesson from them, don't you think?!!! smile Thanks, Sam.

Ram-1 : Hey man, u got a cigarette there?
Ram-2 : Nah dude, I don't smoke no more.
Ram-1 : Oh sorry, I forgot.
Ram-2 : Ah well, who's that lady over there taking our picture?
Ram-1 : (rolling eyes) I dunno but she looks friendly
Ram-2 : You think? Good thing she's got a DSLR though, I hate them point & shooters. I just know I'm gonna look good in this pic.
Ram-1 : Yeah right on.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. You nailed it, Kunle. smile
I like the conversion. Totally Ginnie style. I like it. smile
Ginnie Hart: Awww, shcuks. Thanks, Julia! smile
Like a pair of book ends Ginnie, and that lovely finish you told me about, and which I still haven't mastered as yet.
Ginnie Hart: A pair of bookends! I like that, Brian! smile Thanks.

Stunning shot! This is a print I'd love to hang on my wall. Not only does it have two woolies in it, but just look at those horns? Wow!
Ginnie Hart: It's the look of love, Alex. smile Thanks.
Oh perfect photograph.
They are saying 'What are your plans for the weekend?'
'Nothing special, thought I might ram the occasional careless photographer'
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I love it, Pat. grin Thanks for the smile.
