Whether We Like it or Not!

HA!  I couldn't resist another crane!  Even at Zaanse Schans, Holland!
(see the topless mill on the far left?!)

The crane looks so totally out-of-place. It's as if you've brought the old century into the new. Love your processing.
Ginnie Hart: By now, Marcie, to me almost all cranes feel like they belong! I see them everywhere so they hardly surprise me any more. If they're in the picture, I just include them and smile! smile Thanks.
Ginnie, this the measurement windmollen that was biggest? Or still had again Windmollen that was bigger? Hmmm... very good his photograph. All the corners in this photograph sharp. Tone this colour became the typical characteristics of Ginnie. Regards from Yogyakarta Indonesia.
Ginnie Hart: There are some windmills that are taller, Bram, like two-story buildings. But I don't know if they get much bigger than this? Thanks.

Another beautiful postcard.

Actually, Ginnie, the crane seems pretty comfortable in this surroundings.
Ginnie Hart: That's what I think, Ray. I see these cranes everywhere I go and even I have become comfortable with them! smile Thanks.
hey more windmills

well captured!
Ginnie Hart: If there are windmills to be found, you will get them, DrAW! grin

Spectacular photo you have here, I especially like the framing and once again this color scheme you have going really gives this photo some mood.

p.s. the cranes are done.

Would love to hear your input!
Ginnie Hart: You are so kind, Brian. Thank you. I have just seen all your cranes and am motivated to get mine taken care of! You must have had a HUGE jar to get them all inside! I think I will try the fishing line...since our windows are always closed and I do NOT have to worry about outside pollen or dust. Just inside dust. smile

Brede glimlach hier, geweldig die hijskraan, if there is one, you can 'smell' it, you have the nose for it. (dutch expression)
Postcard quality again, love the PP you used...those seagulls on the quay (?) dock, the shadow on the windmill...superb composition, a joy for the eye....you have no idear...wink
I think I have to take Jeroen one time to the Zaanse Schans, for me it must have been 40 years ago that I went there with my grandparents.
Ginnie Hart: If Jeroen doesn't go with you, Astrid, I'll go with you because I really like that place. Die hijskraan was on the outskirts of the village, so it wasn't technically inside the village, but was seen as we left. Je kent me. Als er een hijskraan is, zal ik het vinden! smile Ontzettend bedankt.

I've never seen a topless windmill before! Gorgeous processing, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: I'm not sure WHY it was topless, Paul, but it was. It looked so weird but it made me observe how they're made! Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Any time I see a windmill, O-P, there is magic everywhere for me! smile Merci.

Especially you couldn't resist the windmills what I can understand. Passions are a part of ourselves. Yes, I immediately saw the windmill without wings, and I thought this would be like a person without heart and soul! The life is missing.
Ginnie Hart: You are so right, Philine...een windmolen zonder hart en ziel. I like that. You are so good! Ontzettend bedankt voor jouw woorden, altijd!
Love the colour range here...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Flo.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Trotsky!
One crane, two and a bit windmills, and some water as well. Interesting treatment gives it some depth Ginnie, well seen.
Ginnie Hart: You are a vote of confidence for me, Les. Thank you kindly. smile

Ginnie, as always i love the mood on your captures, very good framing, well done!
Ginnie Hart: As always, thank you, kind sir!
It's good to see that some things don't change even after being absent for a while. smile I finished my stdies successfully and just started a new job. And now I'm back at SC and happy to find you're still here.
This is a fantastic picture. Light, colour, sharpness, contrast. Perfect!
Ginnie Hart: Oh yes, Julie, and WELCOME BACK! Do tell us about your job and your new life! It'll be good to see your images once again. Thanks for stopping by to check in on me. smile
Poor thing - it's sails are kaput!
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it funny what "topless" means, depending on what you're talking about, Chris?! grin Thanks.

Stormy windmills! Very well done, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
Topless mill............that sound a little risque! Lovely photograph.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I think it's deliciously risque, Pat! grin Thanks.
Lovely picture Ginnie, I think this sort of shining finish to this is really good, I wish I knew how you done it.
Ginnie Hart: I will gladly tell you, Brian. I do it in CS3 but maybe it can also be done with other tools? I'll send you an e-mail...if your address pops up for me. Thanks.
Great shot, sharp as a pin and very interesting. it shouts HOLLAND
Ginnie Hart: I love anything that shouts HOLLAND, Mick! smile Thanks.

Being holland and all, I read topless and went looking, came back and completed reading - it is a topless mill. Should teach me not to jump to conclusions.

Great conversion again. Consider losing the white box building on the right.
Ginnie Hart: Say "topless" and eyes start twinkling, Louis! smile

I actually (eigenlijk = a new wood I learned today!) left that white box in the image on purpose to keep as much of the industrial look, along with the crane, as possible, in juxtaposition with the windmill. But I do know what you mean!

A beautiful cloudy day but very sad.Very nice composition wink
Ginnie Hart: I have come to accept these juxtapositions, Zohre, and by now they have a certain beauty for me. But I know what you mean.
I agree with everything said already. Another cracking photograph, in your own inimitable style. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: You always know how to make my day, Roz. Thank you kindly.
Lol! The translation to the Spanish of "top less" is very graphical and graceful! I would have said that mill is "descabezado" "head less" grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! You are so right, José Angel. grin I love it.
