Love the color processing here Ginnie. Gives a feeling of cooling down..
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Richa. You could definitely call this "cooling down." smile Thanks.

Great spot for a long evening chin-wag with friends and family.
Ginnie Hart: Those chin-wags happen either down here at the beachfront, Ray, or up on the deck next to the cottage. Fun either place. Thanks.

een hemelse foto, this is just stunning, I picture myself being there at the waterfront, listening to what others have to say, yes, sometimes I just feel I don't have to say anything, just listen, laugh, enjoy being in good company and cherish the moments we have, it might be long before we have those moments come again.
Great processing here, it gives that special extra.
De zon/schaduw is prachtig.
Ginnie Hart: Precies, Astrid. Since we're there only once a year at that summer time, we have to take advantage of the moments we have, for sure! You would definitely fit right in! Ontzettend bedankt.

Na, the chairs en the flowerboxes are still standing, a civilized 'morning after'!- and the view of the quietly resting lake is the 'toppertje' and the joy for the eyes!
Ginnie Hart: You and I could go down now and have a nice morning chat, Philine! smile
That planter box looks a bit precarious Ginnie! Clearly a good night beforesmile
Ginnie Hart: Those planter boxes, Bill, believe it or not, supposedly keep the geese away from the shoreline. I don't think they actually do but it's the thought that counts. smile
Just three more days, Ginnie. Have you no staying power? I could make this lake last 100 years.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Yes, indeed, Chad. YOU COULD!!! grin

My kind of photo, Ginnie - traces of a past presence and shadows! Love it. It conjures up all sorts of pleasant images of what when on before.
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: I should have known this was "you," Ingrid. smile Thanks for that thought.

And I'd buy the postcard. smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! And we'll never know who...well, at least I won't know since I didn't stay up that late. smile

Do you suppuse the family would like postcards of the cottage???? smile

Is this sepia or what
Ginnie Hart: Yes and no, Chantal! It's sepia through the Multiply layer which keeps some of the color. Hard to explain.
Lol! And that was at night of before? It seems an funny weekend!
Ginnie Hart: I took the picture in the morning, José Angel, but it was the left-overs from the night before. smile Gracias.
I want to have my feet up on one those chairs and just think about nothing.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Atunbi! There at the lake that's exactly what you could do! smile
Reminds me of a lake we use to spend some time at during the summer. Beautiful setting, so peaceful. Love all the green tones and mirror effect on the water. Gorgeous picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, John. Everyone needs to have a lake like this! smile

Let's see, five people with chairs arranged so lake can be enjoyed as the conversation stretched on into the night! A fine morning after shot. A beautiful place to hang out!
Ginnie Hart: You would love it there, Don. smile Thanks.
Love the title, there's something poignant about seeing the still lake and empty chairs.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Alex! I know. smile Thanks.

Looks ready for a fun filled day on the lake. I especially like the wooden flower pot smile
Ginnie Hart: Those flower pots supposedly keep the geese away, Martin, though they don't always work! Thanks.
You were obviously having a good time ! A bit tired in the morning, I guess ? smile
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Flo, I wasn't there during that "night before" gathering (I had already gone to bed!). But, they weren't there early in the morning when I was. Different strokes for different folks. smile Thanks.
Chairs enjoying peace and quiet and a lovely view too.
Ginnie Hart: That's right, Pat. smile Thank you.
Oh my.....I could relax there! Lovely image. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: You would love it there, Roz! smile Thanks.

More like an afternoon of leisure. A night of leisure would include a blanket as well smile
By the way, the conversion you have done is half-way to a Kay.
Ginnie Hart: Half-way to Kay? That would be a compliment, Louis. Thank you kindly. smile
