photoblog image Rev Her Up!

Rev Her Up!

It was early Spring in Zutphen, Holland, when I took this picture.
Love was in the air, even as the sun was setting!
I'm guessing by now all the boats are revved up for the weekend.
Have a great one!

[Today I'm in Atlanta.]

Great lighting here, sunset does give the most beautiful light, it was one of those days that I could feel spring is coming and love is in the air, like you said. The boats will be gone for the weekend.
Please have a great weekend too.
Ginnie Hart: We both could feel it, Astrid, which was part of the magic of that day. I'll never forget Zutphen!

... a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.....

and an older man's fancy turns to getting the mower out!
Ginnie Hart: HA! The older we get, the more we understand this. grin

Early is a good time for photography, ginnie. If only I could get out of bed early myself!
Ginnie Hart: I'm not real good at early either, Chad, but this was at the end of the day, so you would have been able to have seen it, too.
Beautiful composition Ginnie. I really like the lighting here. Have a great weekend too!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard. It's a long, holiday weekend for us, which makes it even better.

One day in my life i must visit "Holland" - i have friends in Den Haag. I think a typical capture from the "cheeseland" ;-), well done Ginnie. How many miles you travel the hole year? It's impossible for me, i have fear of flying.
Ginnie Hart: I do hope you are able to get to Holland eventually, Klaus. I fly to Europe every month, back and forth from Atlanta, so, yes, that's a lot of miles. Thank God I am NOT afraid of flying! smile

Love is in the air? Is there someone in that cruiser we can't see? smile No doubt, no doubt. I think you will be having a busy weekend, enjoy it!
Ginnie Hart: HA! No one in there that we saw, Ruth, but it was one of those days that you could just feel Spring was coming...and therefore LOVE. smile

We hope to have a relaxing holiday weekend...maybe with a couple of catch-up movies and a trip down to Donica's aunt's. Then Nicholas will come back to be with us late Monday...before the big wedding!

A sharp and crisp picture, I wonder if the weather was like that too?
Ginnie Hart: It was just on the edge of almost too cold, Ellie...but you definitely could feel Spring in the air!
Ah ginnie, that is good. I love Dutch boats, built for The North Sea, rugged.

Is the flying around thing getting a trifle expensive? Geezers, I just filled my gas tank. I really didn't need to eat this week smile
Ginnie Hart: Actually, John, MY flying doesn't cost a thing except taxes because I fly on Donica's frequent-flyer miles. I'm so lucky, I know! smile
This compliments Wednesdays picture very well Ginnie, it looks as though the Spring light was doing you every favour possible.
Ginnie Hart: Awww. Thanks for remembering so well, Brian. It was one of those fabulous days that seemed very kind to us in every way! Thank you.
