The Brisbane Boys

Speaking of Brisbane (yesterday's post), we had the good fortune of meeting up with both Neal (Nev) and Adrian (Vintage) during our vacation in Australia.
Two fabulous guys on the same day in Brisbane, Queensland, one for lunch and one for dinner!

Now if only Aussie
had been around!  She was off to China.  :(

[This morning I arrive in Amsterdam.]

Nice meeting you both. Ginnie, you have already put in so many faces 'behind' the pictures, this collage is a real treat, great pictures.
Bottom Right is stunning, love the lights in the windows.
I do hope you and Donica had a pleasant flight...welcome home .....wink
Ginnie Hart: It's always great fun to meet SCers, Astrid, as you know. The more the merrier. And you also know that we are back "home" here in AMS. Thanks for the fantastic weather right now! What a welcome.
délicieux ces portraits
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, O-P. Thanks.
A fine collage of Aussies and Australia.
Ginnie Hart: I still have to pinch myself that I was actually there, Wim. smile
Good to see you back Ginnie, hope you had a wonderful time.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you so much, Bridge. It was a GREAT time.

Hola, two voracious chickas. A Nev for lunch and a vintage for dinner smile

Have you told Neal that I miss him on SC? No excuse, you should have guessed.

Great collage - the two city scapes seems to be great ones as well.
Ginnie Hart: We were indeed voracious that day, Louis. smile It was great fun to meet both guys and we're thankful they were up to the challenge. Thanks.

Great to meet Neal and Adrian.
Just love the landscapessmile
You have done yourself proud.
Hope you both had a safe flight.
Ginnie Hart: It sure has been fun, Tracy, to meet each any every one thus far. I feel so lucky! smile And yes, we both had good flights on different planes at the same time. That always amazes me. But we're here safe-n-sound where you can picture us!

Ginnie, you have the gift and the human feeling to meet and to gather people from all over the world (if it is possible) so that SC can sometimes be quite more than a internet- community! Two very sympathical looking men! (I self met Wim at the Art Market last sunday for only some minutes- a very gentle and polite 'menheer' indeed- and his etchings are really of high value and select as my friends agreed too!)
Ginnie Hart: I love that you met Wim, Philine! How fun, after all your comments back-n-forth. But that means I just missed you!! sad Let us know when you'll be back, alsjeblieft! We plan to see him this coming Sunday.

Nice collage and what a GREAT chance to meet other sc folks! I bet you all had a grand time!
Ginnie Hart: I LOVE meeting up with SCers, Martie. Maybe one day it will be YOU. smile Where will you be living in the States?
Vintage is planning to visit Europe next year, so I'm hoping he might find his way somewhere near to Droitwich.....somewhere you haven't reached yet either!!
Ginnie Hart: I think Droitwich could very possibly be in my near future plans, Bill, so watch out what you say! HA! I think I'll bring Astrid with me...and Tracy will put us all up. grin

Nice to meet the guys. Brisbane looks like an impressive place from your photos. I think it's a great idea to meet up with fellow Shutterchancers on your travels.
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: We fell in love with Brisbane, Ingrid. A great city. And the guys were very fun to meet. Now they'll both be a tad more "real." smile Thanks.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Neal, he is missed around here on shutter. Great to see Vintage to. Safe trip Ginnie. mal
Ginnie Hart: We talked about you with Neal, Mal. I remembered that you had met him. It was fun to meet both guys. Thanks.
Beautiful collage Ginnie. Nice to meet Nev and Vintage! Thanks for sharing. The cityscapes are superb.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
I love seeing the faces behind the names. Good to meet them.
Ginnie Hart: That';s how I felt, Mary, so thank you. smile
Yep. Neal is definitely missed on Shutterchance so it's lovely to see the man in the flesh! Lucky you! And hello to Vintage too.

Ginnie do you keep tabs on all the airmiles you travel. You must be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Donica beats me hands down on airmiles, Jose-Ann. There are many trips I don't go on with her because they're short trips, even while we're here in AMS. BUT because of all her trips, I get to use her frequent-flyer miles for my trips over the pond. That makes me a happy camper. smile Good to see you back, BTW.
Interesting Ginnie. the way you are making this 'portraits' of B-boys/man, Brisbane is a great place to be, I quess?

See -my blog- how I like to publish my own portrait and from my travelmates..., (you know that all too well...that I don't like to show my face, remember? smile -)

Greetings and I'm glad you and I are back in Holland, good weather here uuh?
Ginnie Hart: We LOVED Brisbane, JoAnn. I highly recommend Australia if ever you can get there! Thanks.

ahh lucky Donica captured me from this side. you cannot see the red cow tag on my ear that says "shutterchancer number 23" or whatever my allocated number is. Hehe. Nice to see vintage as well. It was an absolute pleasure to meet with you and Donica. Hopefully we can catch up again one day for a longer "chin wag". Hope you enjoyed your break in North Queensland as well. I particularly like your cityscape bottom right. Was this on the citycat?
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Neal, that was a picture I took. Donica took the ones of you and me together, which I haven't posted, of course. But it was a fabulous time with you. Thank you again for taking time off work to meet us for lunch! I'll never forget our time together.

This is a superb montage, Ginnie.
Like the big smiles.
Like the dramatic skies.

[Did you take the opportunity to tell Nev to stop fooling about with other stuff and start posting some of his excellent pics?]
Ginnie Hart: That Neal knows we miss him, yes! I sure was glad to meet them both. Thanks.
