When the Sun Comes Out

More Spring Madness along the Oude Gracht (Old Canal) in Utrecht, Holland,
as seen on March 14.

This is for Philine who, after last Friday's post
, preferred a sitting place in the sun on a terrace with een kopje koffie en een appelpunt met slagroom (a cup of coffee and applepie with whipped cream).

[Today I'm in Atlanta.]

But, Ginnie, where are the bottles of red wine, to dress up those bare tables!
Really love that tangle of naked twigs and branches and bicycles at the top.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Ray. A bottle of red wine is exactly what this image needs. smile

Een kopje kopje koffie en appeltaart met slagroom, dat zal ik de volgende keer voor ons bestellen, dát is echt Nederlands.......alhoewel, jij kan het nu zelf al zeggen....grin, it was a great day, sun, warm, lots of happy relaxed people, perfect location to celebrate, you captured all that in one picture, great tones, ontzettend goede foto.
Ginnie Hart: I can't believe I had a whole bunch of comments yet to reply to, and one from YOU! I'm so sorry, mijn vriend. You know that your words always mean the world to me. Thank you.
tu me donne l'envie d'aller à Utrecht

Interesting tones you have here, Ginnie, and i like those steps on the right. I would love to see Utrecht but only if escorted by you and astrid.
Ginnie Hart: If anyone escorts you, Chad, it HAS to be Astrid and me. PROMISE!

Ginnie, you have made my day, hartelijk dank, a wonderful pic of a happy relaxed, peaceful, 'gezellige' atmosphere, such moments can always sweeten our daily life, and perhaps is there "a sitting place in the sun on a terrace" free in order to..(for vandaag is mijn verjaardag!)! How lovely - more than ever- must be the summertime in Utrecht when all the trees are blooming...! It will come, that is sure!
Ginnie Hart: I can't believe I'm this far behind on replying, Philine, but I am glad I made your day...as you so often make mine!
I love this treatment Ginnie. I must have a go at it myselfsmile
Ginnie Hart: I've been enjoying it myself, Bill. Thanks for your affirming comment.
