Interesting DOF and great colors! Noisy though smile
Ginnie Hart: I kept the noise for you, Martin. I knew you'd want something to comment about. smile (Actually, believe it or not, I did use noise reduction, but left some noise for what I was feeling that day.)
simply beautiful
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Alicia, for stopping by and commenting.

Creative use of DOF. The soft focus in the foreground creates a feeling of mystery in the background. Colors are great too.

Take all the time in the world to march on.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jewlya. I'm actually moving out of this moody phase and can see color and brightness again. Time is the great healer and will continue to hold our hands.

my hope and prayer is that you will continue healing.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Kanyi. As I just told Jewlya, I'm actually moving out of this moody phase and can see color and brightness again. Time is the great healer and will continue to hold our hands.

This works well as a composition, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. That day it worked for me...while we were still waiting.
c'est étrange, beau, mystérieux et charmant à la fois
Ginnie Hart: Strange, beautiful, mysterious and charming. Your words are healing words, O-P. Thank you.

A great homage again. Strong colours and the intimation that she flew away to paradise.

The noise that Martin saw is there, with some halo lines between the leaves. Too strong contrasting?
Ginnie Hart: Everything was too strong that day, Louis. The noise, the halo lines, the contrasting. Hopefully I'm seeing better these days. We'll see. smile Thank you for your kind words, as always.
Very nicely composed Ginnie. I like the subtle lighting and the DOF. The noise adds to the mystical atmosphere here!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Richard. I actually did keep some of the noise on purpose. It was that kind of a time in my life.

I really like this, Ginnie. A beautiful and unsual portrait of this striking plant. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: It sat on Mom's dining room table in the dark and that's how I wanted to capture it. Thank you, Roz.
Like a hand with sharp fingernails. A nice enigmatic image.
Ginnie Hart: How did you know, Wim, that Mom's hands were like that with long, "sharp" fingernails! Thank you.

Very nice colours and beautiful flowers
Ginnie Hart: I've always loved these flowers, Navin. They grew like wildflowers in our yard in California years ago. This time they were on the dining room table in the dark where I could see them in a different kind of light. Talk about the mood of the day! Thank you.
Nice image, good darkness
Ginnie Hart: This plant arrangement was sitting on Mom's dining room table in the dark, Chantal, and that's what I wanted to capture. I'm glad it worked. Thank you.

Love the colors, the flowers reaches for the sky, the colors are so warm, Ginnie you did good to keep the colors in...it will come back to you soon and this is a good start and I don't care if there is noise....or what so ever, ik ben trots op je dat je dit laat zien....
Ginnie Hart: Ontzettend bedankt, mijn lieve vriend. I do much love seeing you from Texel in your paradise. I look at these images now and see how far I have come from when I was "there" in that place not very long ago. Time really is the great Healer. The sun is shining today and I see it's brightness with clarity and focus. No noise. smile

A good color for her.
Ginnie Hart: Orange and yellow were Mom's favorite colors together, Ruth, as are mine. We had similar tastes in color, for sure, as redheads. Thank you.

Nice colours, clean background...can't go wrong with that. I especially like the glow in the green part to the left in the pic - strange, but I guess I'm a little bit strange....smile
Ginnie Hart: I like your strangeness, Aksel. smile Thank you.

Yes, this kingly flower ist (for me) an expression of pure joy of life, and I can imagine how much your Mom might have loved her life and how full of pleasure at these flowers and at all little and beautiful things and and and.....her life must have been...
Ginnie Hart: Her younger brother was the one who brought these flowers to her, Philine, while she was still hanging on. I think he must have known she loved them. Thank you for your knowing of so many things, intuitively!

Do colours fly?? Of course they do! That's how they paint the memories we want to engrave in our senses...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Lina. You're right. Colors DO fly. Thank you.

Beautiful, almost ghostly flower dominates this superb image. But...I am really taken by the shine on one of the leaves.
Ginnie Hart: She will always leave her "shine," Ray. Always. Thank you.
Very artistic Ginnie : Bravo !
Ginnie Hart: It was truly what I felt in the moment, Zeb. Thank you.
