Bosom Buddies

While in hibernation for the winter, these two buddies (at the Michigan cottage) yakkity-yak all day long.  Trust me.
Don't you wish you could hear what they're saying!

(Some of you have seen this cottage boat
before.)

[This afternoon I fly from Atlanta to Amsterdam, arriving tomorrow morning.]

Hey it looks like you have found stuff in the woods too! But! Have you stood in the a field with wild buffalo as John did to get the shot? HAHA Make sure you see the shot at www.themaggot.net today. Sorry I know it's a shameless plug and it's not even for my site.
Ginnie Hart: WOW! That was amazing! Nothing like standing midst the boats. smile Thanks for that plug, Roger. And YOU aren't bad yourself!!!

Have a good trip to Europe. I hope that the person you sat next to didn't talk as much as these boats smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martin. And I hope you're right. Only friends get to do that. smile

This is as winter should be, lots of snow, a little sun, not too much wind....great shot again here Ginnie. One boat to the other...finally we get some rest, wait untill they are jumping in again....I am so glad the pond is frozen solid......grin Have a safe flight and see you next week again...now two are counting wink
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Astrid, I agree. Winter as it should be! And the boats are very glad to have some R&R, for sure. I am so looking forward to seeing you (and Tracy and Scarlet!) next week. How fun that will be. smile
At leat this way, they couldn't escape ! smile
Have a nice trip Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Thanks, Flo. Your link has not been working the last couple of comments. I'll see if I can go find you!!!
Hmmmm ... think your interpretation is highly unorthodox...seems to be plenty of lateral thinking going on in your head Ginnie
smile richard
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. Gotta do it sometimes, Richard, or I'll explode. smile Thanks.

Yes, not only some animals but also the boats are in their hibernation and they are dreaming of the coming hot summers, swimming and laughing children, couples who face to face are all eyes for each other, and a lady named Ginnie who is photgraphing all these scenes...!
Ginnie Hart: That lady sure bugs them to death, Philine. smile I love it. Thanks.

They look cosy tucked up in their winter blanket. Nice detail and colours Ginnie. Have a great time in Amsterdam.
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: Thank you so much, Ingrid. Soon I'll be back on your side of the pond! smile
I sus pect they're grumbling about being upside down
Ginnie Hart: HA! But they're used to it by now, winter after winter. Thanks, Chris.
The blue one may be complaining about his coat of paint ;-)
Nice plate.
Ginnie Hart: That's the one, Wim, who is quite satisfied with her character-wrinkles! smile Thanks.

Winter is really there ... Even the boat is having a rest ... I love this composition and the colours ... Well done !!!
Ginnie Hart: Winter seems to be coming and going right now, Ann. It snows, melts and then snows again. Sigh. Not like the good ole days! Thanks.
Nice shot Ginnie. Have a nice and safe flight to Amsterdam
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Richard.

"Best time of the year...don't you think, Stan?"
"Yeh mate...love the prickly feel of this white blanket."
"Yup...and none of those hairless apes trying to drown you all the time."
[chortle....]
Ginnie Hart: HA! I KNEW you'd come up with something good, Ray. Thanks. smile

Pssst, don't look now, Ginnie is back in this neck of the woods. Wonder if she is going to give us a hard time.

Don't be a dummy - the white stuff on you means that we can rest.

Crisp picture, ok crisp snow as well smile
Ginnie Hart: You, too, Louis---I knew you and Ray would both come up with something good. Thanks. smile
magnifique photo. j'aime beaucoup
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, O-P.
Hmmm! Lovely! Crisp snow, sunlight, lots of interesting colour, texture and detail. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: It doesn't get better than that, does it, Roz. smile Thanks.
Nice shot Ginnie. Safe journey to Amsterdam

Conversation? Are you even certain they speak the same language? Whether they speak to each other or not, the photo is lovely. However, each time I get to your site it seems to work differently. How do I review past photos? It seems I only have a choice of a randomly chosen photo or a full assault.
Ginnie Hart: Don't you see the word "previous" on the page, Ted, in the upper right-hand corner? That's where it is. Hmmm. But I DO thank you for stopping by and looking once again!

Ginnie Hart: Yes, Scarlet, indeed, on both counts!! Thanks.
Hi My dear Ginnie, I sure do not forget you, Fnatastic shot and we have NO SNOW at all here! Here in Holland the weather is fine about 10 degrees C, not cold.

I showed some lightballs ( The Hague)for a special reason on my blog, you might like to see them? Have a safe flight! JoAnn
Ginnie Hart: Now that I'm here in AMS again, JoAnn, it is rainy. Not bad but definitely not snowy! Thanks.

Oooh, I do wish I could hear what they're saying - possibly complaining about the cold! wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Maybe, Ellie, though even I wasn't too cold that day. Didn't even need to wear my gloves. Thanks.
Oh! Ginnie, I return to repeat, this place, in summer is beautiful when the boats are in the lake. But now in the winter, with the snow he is precious!
