Seed of Chucky?

This is a short series of photos from "the other side of the tracks" behind Centraal Station in Amsterdam.

I'm still trying to decide if this is as creepy as it looks!

It's definitely as creepy as it looks! Nice one. All the best, Dave.
Ginnie Hart: Okay, so I'm not the only one! Thanks, Dave.

yep...creepy!
The crate of Chucky's girlfriends is like a clever art installation.
The arrows sign is enigmatic.
The flowering weed evokes a sense of jungle fighting back.
The overall image is spectacular, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I can just see you taking off on this one, Ray! smile Thanks.
Ginnie it's not only creepy but scary, the thought of it. lovely capture.
Ginnie Hart: That's what I thought, Olayiwola! Thanks.
It definitly looks creepy Ginie. There are many details to look at in your picture. Nice shot
Ginnie Hart: I see something new every time I look into that crate, Richard, so it gets creepier by the hour! Thanks.

Lol, "Seed of Chucky", superb title and it fits perfectly. Yuk, look at that one with it's mouth open and almost scrashed close to the bottom.
Ginnie Hart: I'm hoping that's an arm or leg joint, Johnny, and not an open mouth. But if it is, I'm outta here! Thanks. smile

i am LOVING the series!!!!!! Yes, this is a freaky image. It goes hand in hand with yesterdays image. We use, abuse and then abandon these things.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Kanyi. How sad! Thanks.

Clever shot... well spotted. Lots of history here.
Ginnie Hart: I can just imagine the glory days of these dolls and who they belonged to. Did someone really hope to salvage these or was the person 'sick!' Thanks, Gale.

YES nice creepy, I love the signs on the box, let it on board or just jump it 'overboard' (if this is English??) and myabe the guy on board is a doll-doctor, yes we do have them in Holland but than on the otherhand; what don't we have in Holland tongue
Ginnie Hart: If it wasn't a doll doctor, I think it was some sick weirdo. I hope you're the one who's right! Thanks, Astrid.
Yep - that`s creepy! Even the yellow does not alleviate the unsettling atmosphere. Why would someone have collected these? They are beyond repair. I`m otta here, before my imagination goes into overdrive! lol! As ever, it is beautifully composed and framed. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: I'm with you, Roz. This feels like the work of a sick/weird person, I'm afraid. I'm outta here, too! Thanks.

The imagination could run wild on this one Ginnie, but it does send a shiver down my spine.
The sign I like which direction should I take? If it the wrong one you will end up in the crate.
Nice capture very crispsmile
Ginnie Hart: A shiver down my spine as well, Tracy! Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Chucky's name is all over this, Shakara, indeed! Thanks.

A sad pic - quite a symbol of destruction of vandalism? But I hope that a doll-doctor (we do have them in Germany, too) can help and create new beautiful dolls in order that some girls and boys 'll take pleasure in these toys, perhaps on Chrismas feast!
Ginnie Hart: I agree on both counts, Philine. Let's look on the bright side of things! Thanks.
To my if it seems to me horrifying! A capture that to many we would like to obtain!
Ginnie Hart: Horrifying is an apt word, José-Angel! That's exactly how I felt went I first saw it. Thanks.

Nice capture, what people throw away hey...
Ginnie Hart: Isn't that the truth, Chantal. They didn't even throw these into the canal!
This is a great photo, Ginnie. To think that these dolls have been fondled and taken care of by childres, and now lie here discarded.
( Ray's comment is nice)
Ginnie Hart: It really makes you winder why they're still being kept! Thanks, Wim.

Oh yes, Ginnie, very creepy! Those arrows on the crate, the ropes, and board with the nail it in hanging over them!

I wonder if they are being collected to be sent to the doll doctor?
Ginnie Hart: I think a doll doctor may be wishful thinking in this scenario, Kathryn, but I do like the thought! Thanks.

Is this from a movie set??

I don't think so, but that's what it reminds me of. good find.
Ginnie Hart: No, Ruth, not at all! It was sitting next to a houseboat on the wharf! But I think it SHOULD be from a movie set. Good idea.

A crate full of old dolls - where the heck were they supposed to go to - before Chucky got hold of them. At least someone left a grave flower.

Great shot highlighting the backside.
Ginnie Hart: It still gives me the creeps when I think about who collected these! Thanks, Louis.

Hmm, must be what they cart out of the back of a doll hospital. It is certainly an odd and slightly creepy image. I like all the nautical components around the box to give it an unusual flavor.
Ginnie Hart: Odd, indeed, Martin. Sure would like to know what it's all about! Thanks.
Hello, Dolly and you too, Ginnie. Yes, creepy. i knew a kid who used to cut the boobs off barbies. This collector may have made a good playmate for her.
Ginnie Hart: Don't you wonder what that kid is like now, Mary! Wow! That's pretty creepy, too. Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: HA! I never would have suspected that from you, Mal! grin I'll pay more attention to you now. smile Thanks.
Doll coffin? ''Curiouser and curiouser!'' cried Alice. What an interesting enigma. It also reminds me of Europe sixty plus years ago. So lots to respond to. richard.
Ginnie Hart: It DOES seem like a coffin, doesn't it, Richard! It would make a great study on death and dying! smile Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: I agree, Chris. Thanks.
Brilliant shot Ginnie. It's part creepy, part sad. One wonders what their fate is going to be and what sort of lives they have led!
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: Creepy and sad is right, Ingrid. I totally agree. So much to imagine with this one. Thanks.
I love all this mixed signals....flowers, dolls, cage, a nail...I find this very intersting
Ginnie Hart: Very interesting and...maybe weird? smile Thanks, Aksel.
