There's a couple of energetic pidgeons in there. Nice study of the quiet life in Barcelona. Well seen.
Ginnie Hart: It was such a fluttering and yet still place. I loved the scene. Thanks, Les.

You've caught such a nice, quiet moment in such a beautiful way.
Ginnie Hart: It was very tranquil, Jewlya. I loved seeing it. Thanks.
Those two seem relaxed and at ease, just enjoying the view.
Ginnie Hart: That's what I thought, Red Pen. Thanks.

superb shot. It is really nice that the couple and the birds seem to co-exist without bothering each other.
Ginnie Hart: The coexistence is precious, Rags, isn't it! Thanks.
magnifique portrait de couple.

And they say ROMANCE is dead..How sweetsmile

Was the pigeon on the wall just about yo fly away or just creating a flapgrin.

Nice nostalgic feel to this shot Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: There was lots of flapping and fluttering around, Tracy. I'm amazed I did catch more of it. Thanks, as always, for your comment.

oh i like it...eavesdropping in on a quiet moment of reflection.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeedm David. Thanks.
Nice candid picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Gishan.
Very sweet. Jose-Angel was hoping you would have more flattering views of Barcelona other than the airport. I'm sure he will be pleased with this.
Ginnie Hart: What's funny is that I never once thought the airport tower was UNflattering, so what do I know! Thanks, Mary. smile
Caught very well, Ginnie. I like the sensation that I have when seeing this!
Ginnie Hart: I'm very glad for that, José Angel. Thank you.
I wonder what they were thinking, you know private thoughts. Boy you do manage to get to some interesting places don't you smile

J
Ginnie Hart: This really could be just about anywhere, Johnny, couldn't it! Maybe the woman's scarf lends it a more European feel. Thanks.

A peaceful picture Ginnie.
I remember Barcelona as quite hectic
Ginnie Hart: It IS hectic, Magnus, for sure, especially on La Rambla. But I guess I caught a quiet moment as the sun was setting. Thanks.

I wonder what they are thinking about while gazing out at the sea. My initial thought was of my grandparents on my Dad's side who came from "the old country." I wonder how many times they gazed out at sea like this, dreaming of something diifferent. Thanks for this one, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It does indeed remind me of "the old country," Kathryn. Very much so. That's why I gave it the sepia tone. Thanks.

This is a lovely shot Ginnie. They look so at ease with eachother, sitting in companiable silence. Love the diagonal composition.

"...I'll be sittin' when the evening comes
Watching the ships roll in
Then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah..."
Surprised nobody quoted this good ol' Otis Redding song, as it imediately started playing in my head. It fits perfectly to the mood of this wonderful shot.
Z
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good ol' Otis Redding. Good connection, Viktor. I like it. Thanks.
Beautiful sight, very intimist - A great composition too !
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Zeb. Thanks.

Ginnie my thoughts went on a run by this beautiful picture, it would be a blessing to be that old and still together and just enjoying sitting there and having a nice time (I hope they had)
Ginnie Hart: You are so totally right, Astrid. It has a timeless emotion for us all, doesn't it! Thank you.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare! Nice shot Ginnie

Nice blurry with the pigeon taking off. Great composition and conversion.

Ginnie Hart: HA! No, Louis, but I could have. smile Spanish is one language I have some ease with (tho' maybe José Angel might not agree!). Thanks.

Excellent and quite tender scene, where the stillness of the couples contrasts with the movement of the pidgeons. I also like the processing. There are places where time doesn't seem to have a great hurry...
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Lina. I need to find those times to help calm/slow me down! Thank you.
