There were many, many dogs yesterday or the day before on SC. They are popular here too, I find. Shadow is lovely and would probably steal mine.
Ginnie Hart: I guess I'm just not looking at the right posts, Mary, because I hardly ever see them as frequently as I see cats. Not that I don't like cats, mind you! smile I guess I'll have to open my eyes wider. Thanks.
I smiled when I saw the caption, and the subject. Finally NOT another cat!!

I love the capture. The eyes are so expressive.
Ginnie Hart: HA! So you see more cats here than dogs as well, it sounds like, Bisola. Don't get me wrong, because I like cats. But I couldn't figure out where all the dogs were! smile Thanks.

Very handsome dog, Ginnie, and beautifully presented by you.
Ginnie Hart: Handsome is the right word, Ray. You're so kind. Thanks.

O yes, his dear warm dogeyes! I confess he could steal my heart, I would like to touch his snout, his ears.., but in reality I'm a little anxious since I have been bitten by a Labradour... (and nearly died by a bloodpoisining).
Ginnie Hart: I am so sorry you have had this bad experience, Philine. Shadow would totally take your fear away because he is so loving and gentle. And he would protect you! I will dedicate this post to you!

Oh Ginnie - He's got MY heart -and we won't tell Annie! He's such a handsome fellow. Does he have the chow black tongue?
Ginnie Hart: Nooooo, we won't breathe a word to Annie! grin I have a feeling they would steal each other's hearts as well.

Now you've stumped me about his tongue because I don't think so. But I'll definitely pay attention when we see him today at Mom's (before I take Donica to the airport).

Two days in a row! You've honored me. smile
That's a real good pretty dog !!! Have a great sunday Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: All of that and more, Flo! Thank you kindly.
Ohh! This is a very good dog! smile
Ginnie Hart: He really is, Jose! Thanks.

Very nice photo of him Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: He's as sweet and loving and tender and gentle as he can be, Tom. Doesn't get much better than that! Thank you kindly.

What you mean by too many cats on SC?? You did not like my sleeping tabby today?? wink
Ginnie Hart: I LOVE your sleeping tabby, Monika. Shadow would like her, as well, especially since she's sleeping. smile

Don't get me wrong. I love all the cats. It's just that I don't see as many dogs. grin
Cats rule! But I like dogs too. He looks like a nice-natured dog.
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: HA! What is it about cats!!! They certainly rule the world, as far as they're concerned. But yes, Shadow is a wonderful dog in every way. Very good-natured. Thanks.
Beautiful dog and an excellent animal portrait! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Julia.

Shadow has captured my heart. Nice shot Ginnie my dogs dont stand still long enough for me to take a picture. They must take after me!!wink
Ginnie Hart: Shadow is about 2 years old and is very calm for his age, I'd say, Tracy. He has 2 terriers that live with him and THEY don't stand still for anything. Maybe that's why Shadow is so calm. smile Thanks. I can see you being a happy mix of all 3 of them. grin

Now he looks like a proper dog! ;o)
Ginnie Hart: A proper dog, indeed, Mike. smile Thanks.
There can never be too many cat pictures....We have hundreds! But I love a good dog picture too. He's beautiful. Such a gentle face
Ginnie Hart: No, never too many cats; just not enough dogs, Bill! smile Thanks.
Looks like a nice and friendly dog smile
Ginnie Hart: He is indeed, Aksel. Thanks.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with cats! wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Nothing wrong, indeed, Jewlya. I just wonder where all the dogs are, that's all. smile

Shadow looks a little long in the teeth - senior cictizen type. If it has chow blood does it mean that he chows cats?

Shadow was the old dog in the incredible journey if my meory serves me well.
Ginnie Hart: And he's barely 2 years old, Louis. Actually, he'd be a great dog to take to assisted-living for the seniors, now that you say that!

I saw The Incredible Journey but don't remember any names. You may be right. Anyway, thanks, as always.
Beautiful capture Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Bridge.

I am sorry to tell you that I have a tiny dislike of cats, they always plow in my yard and dig out my tulipbulbs, but this dog can be my buddy smile does he chase cats smile (If yes he's hired)
Ginnie Hart: We won't tell anyone you said that, Astrid, but I do know that they can wreak havoc...as, too, can some dogs. But you'd definitely love this fella. smile Thanks.
Cute dog. I have had my daughters Black Lab mix for a year now. She finally moved and took the dog today.... snif sniff.
Ginnie Hart: Awwww. I must have known you'd need a loving face to sympathize, Gail! It really is easy to become attached to these wonderful, loving animals.
